CSI: Holland #4 Holland = frietje speciaal

Subtitles suck. They write Sara with an H (Sarah) all the time, not to mention the stupid translations of 'fire in the hole!' (Pas op! Er wordt geschoten!) It just sounds way better in English. I'm glad I don't need the subtitles to understand it anymore.

If I take last Tuesday's CSI:Miami, Ryan says: "Calleigh Duquesne, large and in charge". They translate it with "Calleigh Duquesne gooit de zweep erover". I mean...what?!

It's sooo windy here, but dry now.

This wheather is crap! It took me forever to get home from uni. I was so lucky though. I just made the last train that left from Maastricht.

A ditch just couldn't take it anymore lol if you know what I mean.

Subtitles suck! Why? Because they do.

Haha. I still think we're lucky they don't dub the TV series here, like in France, Germany and Italy. I mean seriously, can you imagine anyone at CSI talking Dutch? Gosh. I HATE dubbing. It sounds too weird and more importantly, it fades away an actor's talent. I think the way of pronouncing a sentence naturally is one of the most important things of acting.

And I know, Roos. VPRO gids spells Maura Tierney as Maura Tierny. EVERY week.

Unfortunately not everyone can understand English, still subs suck as same as the weather. It's time for safety belts.

You hit the nail on the head, I couldn't agree more..

subs are iritating! I am not able to watch most epi's on dutch tv so I don;t have any problems having subs on my csi epi's!

The weather! I've been cruising the web all evening to see photos of the damage! Quit a lot...

We have damage as well. But it's from last Thursday. A 'dakpan' fell off of our roof, so now I have to make sure that my ceiling isn't leaking
*cough*roof tile*cough* yeah yeah I know!

Fortunately my house has a flat roof. And I was surprised even the table on the balcony didn't move at all, while last week during the storm it kinda found another spot on the other side and was turned upside down and took with it the ashtray so that cig butts were scattered around the balcony everywhere.. yuck.. and of course I had to clean.

That's the price you pay for that nasty habit :p

^ why am I not surprised you saying that?? :p

I think my housemates will want to watch the iceskating programmes on TV tonight.. while I want to watch Ranking The Stars *drools over Sophie, Chantal and Daphne* I might distract them with something *starts planning*

Oh Ranking The Stars is so awesome! I loveee Sophie. :D I don't like Leontine Borsato though, although her clothes are quite cool sometimes.

i don't know the whole show Ranking the stars, it's on BNN right??

hmm... i read on the rtl5 site that tuesday is a rerurn After the Fall...what are the doing or is this just wrong??

RTL confuses me too much and I think they don't even know what they're airing anymore.

I don't Ranking the stars neither.
