CSI and the unusual weather

I hope this is okay here. Anyone else contemplating lately how the winter storm Vegas is getting-freezing rain, sleet, ect, would be affecting our CSI team? Grissom's gone so he won't be there to experience his bug activity getting thrown out of whack -both time frames and bugs dying all over the place on outside scenes. The body recoveries may be easier 'cause less hot air to make them rot so quickly. They'll have frozen corpses instead, which they never have in Vegas...at least if the body's outside.

Although it did just occur to me that they're inside more than outside but...I do wonder if they even own any winter clothes LOL

Will they incorporate the wierd weather into upcoming eps does anyone know? It'd work very well into some of the plots perhaps.

Funny should ask :D the city is blanketed with snow.. my whole car was white this morning and it's Sapphire blue :eek:and my pride and joy Asparagus fern, that I nurtered and talked too & was so green and beautiful frozen white :( and we have a MAJOR bug problem here, but the little buggers hide or die :devil:when it's cold..no where to be found.. MU-HA-HA ~~~18 degrees~~~last July it hit 113.. so the CSI's would be freezing their cajones off.. :D
 
Hmm.. interesting thought MacsGirlMel!! It would be interesting to see the weather incorporated into CSI!! We've seen them in big jackets, but never for a snow storm!! It would be neat to see their evidence protection techniques for that kind of weather!

Maybe the whole team will vacation in Miami for the winter and have a season long crossover.
 
Just another post about the little "buggers" that are indigenous to Nevada.. and right now their all GONE..good!!!!! and as far as the warm clothing.. that's a given..I don't even have any.. so anyway the one that's the most prevalent where I am, and so disgusting is the "oriental cockroach" EWWWWW :mad:. and some have wings. they're everywhere, and the "bug guy (not Grissom,I wished} he'd want to put them in his jars!!! said there's 8 kinds of roaches here, (isn't that special) and told me "this is their domain" :(

Yeah, well here in Florida, it's like in the upper 80s! Yeah, Fl always has crazy up and down temps in the winter seasons, but this year, its pretty much all been hot. The lowest we've gotten in a while is 60something.

Now, I like Fl weather, but sometimes I want a break from the sun. I do like the cold weather..

Haha, but this is a very interesting topic and kind of wierd because I watched Day After Tomorrow today.. haahah freeeaky. It'd be cool to have them talk about it on the show.. IDK.
 
I heard on one of the Season 5 commentaries that they film 80% of CSI: LV in California, and only 20% actually in Vegas. Pretty disappointing isn't it. Therefore I doubt the weather is effecting them
 
AWWW.this is true ;).. but the weather in California is just as cold as in Nevada.. there right next to each other.. (check out the weather channel}.. right now excatly the same...COLD..BRRRRRR.. so the cast/crew are cold as much as they would be in Nevada :eek:

Las Vegas: Today: Sunny. Highs in the mid 40s light wind.
Tonight: Mostly clear. Lows in the upper 20s light wind.

Los Angeles: Today: Mostly sunny. Highs in the mid 60s. Northeast winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts to 35 mph vicinity of passes and canyons from leo carillo beach to hollywood hills..diminishing in the afternoon.
Tonight: Mostly clear. Lows in the upper 30s to mid 40s.
