I feel your pain. :lol: It's the one time of year where I'm forced to go as well. Usually we put our lights and tree up on December 1st, but this years we seem to be a little late in that department. It probably has to do with the fact that my mom is always at work and my dad's too old to put up the lights himself. Plus, lots of ice on the driveway. It's kind of funny how early people buy presents and put up the tree and lights. I say my family should take Ducky's example and not do anything decorating-wise until a few days before Christmas.
On Christmas; I'll be opening presents with my family at my grandmas house, my mom and grandma and aunts will be busily cooking the most amazing dinner of the year, everyone on my mom's side of the family will be there, there will be snow on the ground, my Grandparents will give me 100 dollars, I'll be eating a lot of chocolate, there will be decorations everywhere, I won't be on the computer or stressed out about dumb boys, I will be an extremely happy girl. I love Chritmas, I can't wait!
Calihan, that house blows the scale away! We have some houses out in SoCal like that, but I never get tired of beautiful houses. For those people who don't like Christmas or other winter holidays, I'm truly sorry if someone or something in your past ruined it for you. I'll be thinking of you. ETA: Happy Hanukkah, Dynamo! LMAO. Poor allmaple. Having her Mom move out will be traumatizing. Understandable! The tree could dry out to soon or some other reason. I love Christmas. Number one item on my Christmas list this year: '24' Season 5 on DVD. My brothers and I got an early Christmas present on Thursday, a 6week old puppy.

I think Christmas is a bit overrated sometimes. There are several people in town who already had christmas decorations back in October.. it's so sick.

Oh dear. Clothes are boring. I also get clothes, too. And I don't like the 90% of them... I'd like a TFT screen, I still have this crappy CRT one which is too dark. Oh, I do know what I'll get from my brother! He'll have a HUGE Marg poster made just for me And a Marg mug. Don't say I'm obsessed. Maybe I'll make it a little funny. Just choose a piccy of Cath and put a text on it with Photoshop. Then it would say "Mugs" on the mug. Yeah, I'm a blonde...
