Fans of CSI will soon be able to watch the show whenever they want, according to CBS.
The Eye network recently made a deal with Comcast cable to put its top rated shows - such as CSI, Survivor, The Amazing Race, and NCIS - on Comcast's on-demand platform, giving fans the opportunity to watch CSI whenever they want for only 99 cents per episode.
The deal was created to give viewers the chance to see their favorite shows when they want as well as increase revenues. The service, however, will only be available in Comcast markets served by CBS-owned stations initially.
"This gives us a chance to augment what we're getting from advertisers," CBS chairman <font color=yellow>Les Moonves</font> said, and added the deal will eventually expand to other markets.
CBS isn't the first network to offer episodes of its top rated shows on-demand. Disney made a deal last year with Apple that allows viewers to purchase copies of their favorite shows just hours after they air. NBC also made a similar pact with DirectTV.
