CBS Cancels 'CSI: New York'

CSI Files

Captain
After nine seasons on the air, CBS has decided to cancel CSI: New York. CSI: Miami was cancelled last year, leaving CSI: Crime Scene Investigation as the only member of the franchise to return in the fall.

I'm not surprised, but I am disappointed. I've been watching CSI: New York since the very beginning, and I'm sad to see it go off the air. :(

I wish all of the actors and crew members luck moving forward, though. We had a heck of a ride, but all good things must come to an end.

Yeah. I'm glad they had the ending they did though.

I found interesting they canceled Golden Boy, and Vegas.

I'm really disappointed that they couldn't get to the magic number of 200 episodes, but they did end at a good place. Really pissed they cancelled Vegas too--that means its a SERIES finale tonight.

Wonder what Nina Tassler's grand excuse will be this time...

Only one CSI will return in the fall, that is depressing :(

RIP CSI: NY and good luck to all the cast and crew :)

I have to agree with you, Mulder42, They should make it to 200 episode like they did CSI: Miami. CBS is not the only one cancelled Vegas and they also cancelled The Golden Boy and The Rules of Engagement.

Too bad they couldn't have made it to 200. If they ahd included more episodes in season 8 and 9 they would have been almost there.
Best of luck to the cast and crew from here on out!

Indeed. Great show, and I've thoroughly enjoyed watching it from the beginning!

I really do wish them all luck in the future.

I never watched Golden Boy or RoE, so I don't have any opinion on those, but Vegas was an excellent show. Just goes to show you that even Dennis Quaid and Michael Chiklis--2 amazing actors, couldn't save it. :(
