haha....it's funy that you say that, my heart was racing!
I must really 'live the character' seriously, if it was going any faster, I would've been having cardiac arrest (not that I'm fat, I'm actually in the normal range for my height, which towers over *emily procter* by like.... 6 inches XD)

okay, I have finally found the time to write an update for my story, I know Emer would be very happy about this
PART THREE
I KNOW WE’RE COOL
“Mmmmmm…..oh god, Horatio……..we should stop this before we get caught…” Calleigh mumbles at horatio who’s making out with her neck at the moment. Calleigh cannot believe she got pulled to the side…. To the side of the hallway of the Miami-Dade PD for Horatio to kiss her like he is now.
“Horatio….Horatio, come on….we have to get back to work!” She hoarsely whispers into his ear. He lets go of her immediately, dipping his head forward slightly in embarrassment
“Sorry, Calleigh…..I don’t know what came over me…uhhmm…” He couldn’t finish his sentence. Calleigh’s hair is slightly ‘puffed up’ because of him adjusting her position against the wall so he could get to her neck, but he doesn’t tell her.
On second thoughts…… “Calleigh?”
“Yes, Horatio?” She replies, looking around to make sure no-one saw their little *episode*.
“Your hair…” He smiles and runs his fingers over the small tangle, effectively smoothing it out.
Calleigh just gave him a quick, but loving glance and a peck on the cheek before sashaying away from him and back to her Ballistics lab.
Horatio smiled at himself and headed back to his office too.

‘Huh?’ Horatio thought to himself as his computer let him know someone just signed onto MSN messenger. Eric of all people had put him onto it, and he had to admit he thought it was very convenient.
Soon, a small window pops up with the name of the sender being “Southern Belle.” Horatio immediately smiled and read the message.
**
SOUTHERN BELLE: Hey, Horatio?
Mr. CAINE: Yes?
SOUTHERN BELLE: I’m sorry, but I am just wondering what y’alls is doin’ after work?
Mr. CAINE: I have locked my lips and thrown away the key.
SOUTHERN BELLE: Tease.

Calleigh then went offline a couple of seconds later, to get back to her work.

Horatio went through the rest of his work with relative ease, until 5 minutes before shift ended when he heard Calleighs stilettos clicking against the tiles on the floor leading up to his office.
*Knock, knock, knock*
Calleigh knocked on his door three times and waited for him to respond, which took barely more than a couple of seconds. “Come in, Calleigh” He says without looking up.
She walks in and sits on one of the chairs opposite his desk, putting her boot-clad feet up onto the end of his table. As he looks up, he smiles at her, thinking how beautiful she looks.
“Shift’s nearly over. Want to get a bite to eat?” She asks casually.
“Sure,” He starts, getting up and moving over to her, “What would you like to dine on this fine afternoon?”
“There’s this new place, down by the beach. Alexx said it’s a good place for couples and the prices aren’t bad either.”
“Hmmm...” He said, grabbing her ankles with both his hands and putting them on the ground gently with a smirk, “Would you like to go now?”
“Later. I have to go home first; I need a shower after shift.” She says as she gets up with Horatios aide.
He was always such a gentleman towards her. Sure, he was like this with every woman, it was just common courtesy and proof chivalry isn’t really dead. But she noticed that when he offered her his hand or opened a door for her, he’d seem happier than usual, his smile was bigger, and his eyes just that little bit brighter. These two had a special bond that was so strong, both Horatio and Calleigh doubted even Stetler could break them apart.
They walk out hand-in hand, with smiles on their faces.
