Jerry Bruckheimer, the producer of the three CSI shows and three other CBS shows, will be branching out to other networks with his latest projects.

Reuters is reporting that Bruckheimer has just inked a deal to produce two new series for the WB network. One of the shows will be a drama, the other a comedy.

The hero of the drama show will be a seventeen-year-old lawyer, and much of the drama will focus on his relationship with his mentor. Jonathan Shapiro (The Practice) is set to executive produce and write for the show. No details about the comedy exist yet.

Bruckheimer already has a series commitment from NBC for a drama show. The NBC drama will center around the Pentagon and the defense department. No writers are attached yet, though NBC is currently seeking scribes for the project.

Maybe they should just give Bruckheimer his own network. That way he won't have to do shows for anyone else.
