Body found on Miami set

Isn't this a coincidence, just days before the start of the new season for all three series?

Body Washes Up Near Set of 'CSI: Miami'
Sep 16, 7:55 PM (ET)

MIAMI (AP) - A man's body floated up near where a crew was filming a scene for the crime show "CSI: Miami," authorities said.

The body washed up early Friday in Biscayne Bay at Bicentennial Park, which film crews were using as a helicopter staging ground for aerial shots of a fictional offshore investigation for the CBS show, police said.

A homeless man spotted the body and alerted an off-duty police officer who was working security on the set, police said. The body had no signs of injury, and the death was not considered suspicious, according to authorities.

"Unfortunately, it's not unusual during certain times of the year that people who have fallen in the bay, either homeless or people who were asleep or in some cases boaters who had a mishap, fall into the bay and turn up days later," said Detective Delrish Moss, a Miami police spokesman.

It's not the first dead body to unexpectedly appear on a "CSI" set. One was found this week in a Los Angeles building where "CSI: New York" was filming. Police also didn't consider that death suspicious.

Uh oh, maybe there's a curse going around. Every new season gets a real dead body? This is a strange coincidence.

Thanks for the info Dynamo. :)

It is pretty freaky, especially after they found a body on the NY set earlier this week too.

I'd totally be creeped out too...I just happened to notice this though I rarely visit the Miami section.

Suspicion #1: publicity stunt for new season?
Suspicion #2: staged? Why did the security guard allow the homeless man on the set if they were going to film there? Are they actors, pretending to be homeless man, security guard, paramedics, and of course the corpse?

Wasn't there similar thing during the season 1? I mean, didn't EP explain how they had complained about the smell or something and they found out later that there was a body in the car...

Perhaps I'm imaging things...

Is it really for real? If it is, it's creepy I mean, dead bodies on the CSI sets? Maybe someone's trying to pull a prank or something. CSI Las Vegas ought to watch out then.

I find it extremely strange that there was one found on the CSI: NY set only on Tuesday as well! Hmmm...

I admit it would still be extremely freaky to find a dead body, even if you did work on something like CSI it would still scar you!
