Hi guys/girls,

Wow!! There are a lot of songs listed here and I am here to add one more. I listened to the Josh Groban cd and this is so GC. Check it out:
----------------------------------
Artist: Josh Groban Lyrics
Song: You're Still You Lyrics

Through the darkness
I can see your light
And you will always shine
And I can feel your heart in mine
Your face I've memorized
I idolize just you

I look up to
Everything you are
In my eyes you do no wrong
I've loved you for so long
And after all is said and done
You're still you
After all
You're still you

You walk past me
I can feel your pain
Time changes everything
One truth always stays the same
You're still you
After all
You're still you

I look up to
Everything you are
In my eyes you do no wrong
And I believe in you
Although you never asked me to
I will remember you
And what life put you through

And in this cruel and lonely world
I found one love
You're still you
After all
You're still you

Tell me what you think :)

This is angsty and it talks about unrequited love, which is sooo not G/C .. ;) but the title reminds me of Griss vs the Volcano so bite me.. its still G/C. :D

"Volcano"
by Damien Rice

Don't hold yourself like that
You'll hurt your knees
I kissed your mouth and back
But that's all I need
Don't build your world around volcanoes melt you down

What I am to you is not real
What I am to you you do not need
What I am to you is not what you mean to me
You give me miles and miles of mountains
And I'll ask for the sea

Don't throw yourself like that
In front of me
I kissed your mouth your back
Is that all you need?
Don't drag my love around volcanoes melt me down

What I am to you is not real
What I am to you you do not need
What I am to you is not what you mean to me
You give me miles and miles of mountains
And I'll ask for the sea
Is just what I'm going through
This is nothing new
No no just another phase of finding what I really need
Is what makes me bleed
And like a new disease she's still too young to treat
Volcanoes melt me down
She's still too young
I kissed your mouth
You do not need me

Love "You're Still You", and Hottie, I really need to find the "Volcano", and you can call me High. ;)

Another song for GC, and we also have a song-fic for this.

Somehere Only We Know
by Keane

I walked across an empty land,
I knew the pathway like the back of my hand.
I felt the earth beneath my feet,
Sat by the river and it made me complete.
Oh, simple thing, where have you gone?
I'm getting old and I need something to rely on.
So tell me when you're gonna let me in,
I'm getting tired and I need somewhere to begin.

I came across a fallen tree,
I felt the branches of it looking at me.
Is this the place we used to love?
Is this the place that I've been dreaming of?

Oh, simple thing, where have you gone?
I'm getting old and I need something to rely on.
So tell me when you're gonna let me in,
I'm getting tired and I need somewhere to begin.

And if you have a minute why don't we go,
Talk about it somewhere only we know?
This could be the end of everything.
So why don't we go, somewhere only we know,
Somewhere only we know.

Oh, simple thing, where have you gone?
I'm getting old and I need something to rely on.
So, tell me when you gonna let me in,
I'm getting tired and I need somewhere to begin.
And if you have a minute why don't we go,
Talk about it somewhere only we know?
This could be the end of everything.
So why don't we go, so why don't we go,

Hmmm yea,

This could be the end of everything.
So why don't we go, somewhere only we know,
Somewhere only we know?
Somewhere only we know.

So I was listening to this song... and it reminded me of Catherine. Then it occured to me it would be a great G/C song.

Well who knows, it might even come true. The next couple of episodes might lead to something juicy... mainly the finale.

ROBBIE WILLIAMS -SIN SIN SIN

Don't let your eyes tell the brain
You should feel ashamed
Everyone needs it baby
And I feel the same
Didn't quite catch your name
Hush, hush, hush don't say a thing
Lets see what the night will bring
It might be everything

Oh it hurts when you're too blind to see
Please don't read my mind I tell the truth to me

Sin sin sin
Look where we've been
And where we are tonight
Hate the sin not the sinner
I'm just after a glimmer of love
and life deep inside

Hush hush hush
To speak is a sin
And neither of us need rescuing
Just relax
It's what Jesus would do
We're made in his image baby
Let's ride this thing through

Oh it hurts when you're to blind to see
What about us? Well it was just for me

Sin sin sin
Look where we've been
And where we are tonight
Hate the sin not the sinner
I'm just after a glimmer of love
And life deep inside

I won't sing of amore
It don't sound sincere
Love is a cliché
But if its not here I'll disappear

Sin sin sin
Look where we've been
And where we are tonight
Hate the sin not the sinner
I'm just after a glimmer of love
And life deep inside

Deep inside

It's loves great sex joy
I love you, you love my hate
And it feels inside
Feels inside
Feels inside

Oooh, love that one! And you're right - it definitely fits. And my-my how I would love it. Deep inside, feel inside, indeed. (Now where did that smiley go..... *g*)

This one just came on my play list, and it reminded me of Grissom and how Catherine is the one who opens him up - something we've definitely seen this season (well, as well as during previous seasons).

"You Found Me"
By Kelly Clarkson

Is this a dream?
If it is
Please don't wake me from this high
I've become comfortably numb
Until you opened up my eyes
To what it's like
When everything's right
I can't believe

You found me
When no one else was lookin'
How did you know just where I would be?
Yeah, you broke through
All of my confusion
The ups and the downs
And you still didn't leave
I guess that you saw what nobody could see
You found me
You found me

So, here we are
That's pretty far
When you think of where we've been
No going back
I'm fading out
All that has faded me within
You're by my side
Now everything's fine
I can't believe

You found me
When no one else was lookin'
How did you know just where I would be?
Yeah, you broke through
All of my confusion
The ups and the downs
And you still didn't leave
I guess that you saw what nobody could see
You found me
You found me

And I was hiding
'Til you came along
And showed me where I belong
You found me
When no one else was lookin'
How did you know?
How did you know?

You found me
When no one else was lookin'
How did you know just where I would be?
Yeah, you broke through
All of my confusion
The ups and the downs
And you still didn't leave
I guess that you saw what nobody could see
You found me

(You found me)
(When no one else was lookin')
You found me
(How did you know just where I would be?)
You broke through
All of my confusion
The ups and the downs
And you still didn't leave
I guess that you saw what nobody could see
The good and the bad
And the things in between
You found me
You found me

JOSS STONE - Don't Cha Wanna Ride

I know you got the hummer for the summer baby
But I got your number baby
I got your number baby

I was trying to protect you from yourself
'Cause I respect you
And I feel like you just might
Be some one who I could get into
But I never seem to catch your eye
And it's been buggin' me why I even try
Still you're someone I'd like to get to know
Is there room for me in your one-man show

[Chorus:]
A car this fine don't pass your way everyday
Don't cha wanna ride baby
Don't cha wanna ride baby
A car this fine don't pass your way everyday
Don't cha wanna ride baby
Don't cha wanna ride baby
Time is slipping by, by, by
Slipping by

I was trying to connect with you
But you acted scared when I'm checkin you
And all my girls say you're hard to please
But I think that I got just what you need
Get your face out of the mirror
Then maybe you could consider
This girl who's knockin' right at your door
Make room for me in your one-man show

[Chorus]

I know you got the hummer for the summer baby
But I got your number baby
I got your number baby

I know where you live
I know all 'bout your crib
But do you know that they can't give you what I give

[Chorus]

Can't blame the poor man for tryin'. He should just try it when there's not so many articles of clothing in the way. *rolls eyes* Men. ;)

And Grissom obviously has a love for Catherine's assets, so I thought this was fitting, too.

"Boom Boom"
By The Animals

Boom boom boom boom
Gonna shoot you right down
Take you in my arms
I'm in love with you
Love that is true
Boom boom boom boom

I like the way you walk
I like the way you talk
When you walk that walk
and you talk that talk
You knock me out
Right off of my feet

C'mon and shake,
Shake it baby
Shake it up baby
Shake it baby
C'mon now baby
Shake it baby
I don't mean maybe
Shake it baby
You're driving me crazy
Shake it baby
C'mon, c'mon
Shake it baby
All right, all right

The way you walk
The way you talk
When you walkin' that walk
And talkin' that talk
I need you right now
I mean right now
I don't mean tomorrow
I mean right now
C'mon, c'mon
C'mon shake it up baby
Boom boom boom boom

Oh yeah, shake it for him. :)

NICKELBACK: HERO LYRICS

I am so high. I can hear heaven.
I am so high. I can hear heaven.
Oh but heaven, no heaven don’t hear me.

And they say that a hero can save us.
I’m not gonna stand here and wait.
I'll hold onto the wings of the eagles.
Watch as we all fly away.

Someone told me love would all save us.
But how can that be, look what love gave us.
A world full of killing, and blood-spilling
that world never came.

And they say that a hero can save us.
I’m not gonna stand here and wait.
I'll hold onto the wings of the eagles.
Watch as we all fly away.

Now that the world is ending, its love that I’m sending to you.
It isn’t the love of a hero, and that’s why I fear it won’t do.

And they say that a hero can save us.
I’m not gonna stand here and wait.
I'll hold onto the wings of the eagles.
Watch as we all fly away.

And they're watching us
(Watching Us)
and they're watching us
(Watching Us)
as we all fly away.yeahaahh...ooouuhh (#3X

i love YOu Found Me by Kelly Clarkson, i heard this song on the radio and i thought of grissom what do u think?
I checked out the song, and the lyrics of You Found Me here. I definitely think it fits G/C specially this lines:

"(You found me)
(When no one else was lookin')
You found me
(How did you know just where I would be?)
You broke through
All of my confusion
The ups and the downs
And you still didn't leave
I guess that you saw what nobody could see
The good and the bad
And the things in between
You found me"

*love* :)
