An old episode that I remember

I am trying to remember an old episode.

A pair of men kill a family or something and the daughter witnesses it or such and they are caught or questioned, but before it goes to trial I think they find the daughter and kill and rape her... The episode ended rather open if I remember it right so we never do find out if it was the same pair of killers..

Anyone?
 
Cbs tried very hard to make this episode win best drama emmy for csi. Ran it during voting and 3 other times.
