Alana De La Garza Joins Cast Of 'Law & Order'

CSI: Miami actress <font color=yellow>Alana De La Garza</font> has found a new gig.

The actress will this fall join the cast of Law & Order, on NBC, playing a new assistant district attorney who will replace A.D.A. Alexandra Borgia, killed off in the series' 16th-season finale last month. The new character's details have yet to be released.

De La Garza appeared on CSI: Miami this final season as Marisol Delko, Eric Delko's sister and the object of Horatio Caine's affection. The character was gunned down a week after her wedding to Horatio by the Mala Noche gang.

The actress's other credits include a few appearances in the short-lived The Book of Daniel, Charmed, Smallville, Two And A Half Men, and a full stint on 2001 in All My Children.

I think this will actually be a great role for her. She wasn't quite my cup of tea for Miami (They made her too much of a victim in everything) But, I think as a head-strong DA, she'll do great! :) I'm looking forward to it.
