Anyone else catch this show? TBH, I enjoyed this pilot more than most of what I've seen so far this season. This seems to be Smallville's 'replacement' in the superhero genre at CW. For us older folks, it's a reminder of the Batman series days, but mercifully updated and better. Check it out!

I wasn't too impressed with the pilot. The cheese factor was a little high, IMO. But it wasn't terrible, so I'll probably watch it once in a while. I'll stick with CSI in that time period for now; and I can't wait for American Horror Story next week.

lol. Maybe that was my problem with the re-enactment and the flashback scenes. I didn't know who was real and who was fake, or much about who all the players were; except for Edie, whose compelling story sadly was buried under other stuff.

Could you elaborate? I admit I'm nervous about the 'tension' Jorja talked about in her interview, but I don't recall anything from last night that particularly bothered me.

^^^ Wow. That's so sad. I suspect these types of chronic sports injuries are much more prevalent than the industry will admit. My heart goes out to his family, who no doubt endured much heartache even before his death. RIP, Alex Karras.
