My thoughts and hopes are that even if the writers did not continue with the storyline, Carmine himself will still be portraying Danny as still trying to deal with the Ruben situation, without needing the words.

If everything went to plan internet wise, we should be seeing Fay back very shortly. I would be extremely disappointed if the storyline was dropped. Carmine played it so beautifully that it just does't seem natural not to carry on with it.

The shoes were interesting, what threw me off was the Little Tikes football helmet.

I was thinking the exact same thing. I was questioning myself after the episode if we saw him ride it, and then I realized he wasn't even wearing a helmet.

It's been interesting checking out both Lindsay threads these past couple of days to read the exact opposite interpretations of the same interview.
