    Grade 'Raising Shane'

One of the better eps of this season, IMHO. Here's what I especially liked: 1.) Mac locking himself into the conference room to talk with Hawkes, even though he knew the other cops would break down the door and drag him out. 2.) Mac breaking up with Peyton. I never did like her, just...

Grade 'And Here's To You, Mrs. Azrael'

I agree — chest hair is good!!

Grade 'And Here's To You, Mrs. Azrael'

I had some very mixed feelings about this ep. I liked that there was only one case and the "twist" of the girl in the hospital bed not being who everybody thought she was caught me by surprise. Here's what I didn't like: the suggestion from almost everybody that it would be "more merciful" to...

    Mac & Stella #6 = "I'm Glad You Stayed."

Woo-hoo!! Did we get some great Mac/Stella interaction in last night's ep or what???

    Grade 'Consequences'

I really LOVED this ep!!! First of all, there was really only one case -- although there were various ramifications from it -- which made it easier to follow than the eps where they have two or three different cases. Secondly, there was mucho Mac/Stella interaction of a deeply caring...

    Grade 'Murder Sings the Blues'

I was kind of disappointed in this ep. "CSI:NY" seems to falling prey to the same problem of interjecting sexual overtones into every episode that led me to quit watching the original "CSI". There was absolutely NO reason that the maid who discovered the body couldn't have been a middle-aged...

    TRAPPED -- Smacked style!

    I liked it. Please continue!

    Grade 'Open and Shut'

It was a pretty good ep. I liked how the murdering wife's plan was foiled by the coincidence of the CSI team already being on the scene. But there was none of the Mac/Stella or Danny/Lindsey banter in this ep that I so enjoy.

    Mac & Stella #6 = "I'm Glad You Stayed."

I loved the part in last night's ep where Stella was reading the prayer aloud and Mac came up behind her and said, "I like you, too, Stella." Very sweet!

Ratings differences between the various CSI shows

Seems like every week there are fewer differences in the Nielsen ratings for the various CSI shows. Last year "CSI" the top-rated show, the Miami versios was generaly fourth or fifth and the NYC version (my personal fave) just barely edged into the top ten. This year the original show has been...

    Grade 'Oedipus Hex'

I liked it. Not so much for the cases as for the Mac/Stella and Danny/Lindsey interaction. I really enjoyed the part where Stella was reading the prayer aloud and Mac came up behind her and said, "I like you, too, Stella." Very sweet! And there was no Peyton in this ep to come between them...

    Grade 'Hung Out to Dry'

It was pretty good, but I was kind of confused as to why Flack and/or Danny didn't just shoot the suspect instead of running after him. He was a suspected serial killer and they'd identified themselves as police officers; I think shooting is allowed under those circumstances. Also, if they'd...

Danny/Linds #12 "Country vs. City Kind of Foreplay!"

My *%#$@ VCR isn't working right and I missed this ep!! Could somebody please either PM me or post here what exactly happened between Danny and Lindsey in the scene they were showing in the previews? Are they an official "couple" now or what?

    Mac & Stella #6 = "I'm Glad You Stayed."

Some men do seem to need some sort of temporary floozy between two major loves in their life. We know Mac was deeply in love with Claire. But she's dead so maybe he needs a floozy before he can move onto another deep love with Stella. Just let it be brief. Please!!

    Mac & Stella #6 = "I'm Glad You Stayed."

Okay, I missed the season premiere (my VCR malfunctined) but I've heard rumors Mac has a new girlfriend. Noooo!!! But if they must do the "girlfriend' bit I hope it ends soon and Mac gets back to flirting with Stella who is -- as we ALL know -- his soulmate.

Danny/Linds #12 "Country vs. City Kind of Foreplay!"

Unfortunatly, I missed the season premiere because my VCR malfunctioned. Were there any shippy moments between these two in that ep?

    CSI:NY in the top ten

"CSI:NY" was among the top ten programs last week. This would be for the season premiere.

MAC + PEYTON #new kid on the block#

Re: MAC + PEYTON #new kid on the block# NO!!!! No Mac + Peyton!! No Mac and ANYBODY other than Stella!!

    Well, Phooey!!

My VCR malfunctioned and I didn't get the season premiere recorded. Can somebody give me a brief synopsis, with special attention paid to any develops within the Mac/Stella or Danny/Lindsey ships?

    Least fav character and episode

Least fav episode was one on the original CSI in which a soccer-playing Catholic schoolgirl went missing. I don't even know how it ended because I turned it off, as it mirrored my own family siutaion a bit too closely for me to view it as "entertainment".
