If they are going out of their way to tell us Danny is a saint with a perfect life, I would assume a few episodes later something will happen to show him as anything other than a saint with a less than perfect family - is that not the way things usually work on tv?

For Melina not to come back for 1 episode to give Stella a proper exit seems a little strange and, to me at least would suggest motives other than just spending time with her kids. I hope Stella exit gets more than just a one off comment made in passing from one of the team though.

The accents bothered me aswell, the strange thing is I think both the actors are actually British. The dads accent definately went transatlantic a few times and also managed a little tour of south east England in one sentence.
