My opinion = "Criminal Minds" is on it's way OUT!

Damon Gupton Out, Two Series Vets Remain in Limbo

Sources confirm for TVLine that due to creative changes at the long-running CBS crime drama, Damon Gupton will not be returning as Supervisory Special Agent Stephen Walker for Season 13. The actor’s departure, revealed via Twitter over the weekend, comes just 15 episodes after he was added to the cast in wake of Thomas Gibson’s controversial exit.

In January, Criminal Minds boss Erica Messer told TVLine that adding Gupton amid so much existing cast churn — Gibson’s aforementioned exit came on the heels of Adam Rodriguez’s hiring and preceded Aisha Tyler’s promotion to series regular and Paget Brewster’s full-time return — was not her choice, but rather “a decision that the network made.”

“It’s always a challenge to bring somebody new into a group that has functioned together as long as [the BAU has],” Messer said. “It’s like, ‘OK, what role needs to be filled?’ So we brought him in with a specialty in the espionage world.”

Last month, our sister site Deadline reported that veteran cast members AJ Cook and Kirsten Vangsness were in the midst of difficult contract negotiations, seeking parity with their male co-stars (Joe Mantegna and Matthew Gray Gubler had just inked new deals). Negotiations with the actresses remain at an impasse, with both reportedly willing to walk away from the series if they can’t reach a deal.

Criminal Minds‘ Season 12 finale conveniently left the fate of several characters in the air, as arch nemesis Mr. Scratch arranged for an 18-wheeler to plow into two SUVs filled with BAU agents. Only Garcia and Reid (played by Vangsness and Gubler) were out of harm’s way as the season drew to a close.

Sounds like he's bringing his character from Beyond Borders to "Criminal Minds".

Criminal Minds Adds Beyond Borders' Daniel Henney as Series Regular

Beyond borders… continued employment awaits.

CBS has announced that Daniel Henney has been added to the cast of Criminal Minds for Season 13, bringing over the character he played on the two-season spinoff Beyond Borders.

Henney’s hire comes on the heels of Damon Gupton being released from the role of Criminal Minds‘ Agent Stephen Walker after less than a full season, followed by the re-signing of series vets A.J. Cook and Kirsten Vangsness.

Formerly with the International Response Team, Henney’s Special Agent Matt Simmons will join the BAU, with whom he has consulted in the past (including helping with the release of Dr. Spencer Reid upon his arrest in Mexico last season).

Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders was cancelled last month after Season 2 averaged 5 million viewers and a 0.8 rating, down 28 and 33 percent from its freshman run. Henney’s previous TV credits also include Revolution, Hawaii Five-0 and Three Rivers.

Criminal Mind: season 12, episode 3

Who can help me with the exact quote I've heard at the end of this show.
It was a Boeddha quote. Something about the moon and the truth.
A show that gives us a few lessons for live... A reason for me to keep on watching it.

kriss44, I didn't think I could answer the question, but a search on Google produced a Criminal Minds Fan Wiki page, which has quotes from all 12 seasons.

The episode for Season 12/Episode 3 is "Taboo" and it had a quote said by Emily, and one about the Buddha, said by Luke: "Three things cannot long stay hidden. The sun, the moon, and the truth."
