Season 14 Spoiler Lab Discussion

Wait! Does this mean they will actually have a case where a murder is not involved?

CSI: Crime Scene Investigation 14.02 "Take the Money and Run"
STORY LINE: A complex casino heist has the CSIs scratching their heads...

RYAN
blue collar, a likeable, unassuming, sympathetic everyman, he is a casino maintenance man and a new father, he lost his wife recently and is struggling to pay the bills as a single father. Ryan is apparently recruited against his will to participate in a million-dollar heist.

MRS. BRYANT
pretty, blue collar, emotionally devastated, she's heartbroken over her husband's murder, particularly since Mr. Bryant was her high school sweetheart and had survived four tours in Afghanistan only to die on the job at home.

AUDREY
pretty, intelligent, there’s more to her than meets the eye. The dealer in an exclusive, high-limit poker game, she demurs from getting involved in Mr. Gentry's analysis of his opponent. Later, she's sickened and saddened by the death of her colleague in a heist.

MR. GENTRY
a Vegasy, cowboy type, he loses $600,000 in a high-limit poker game and is accused of being the inside man in a deadly heist that occurs shortly after his big loss.

MR. BRYANT
former military, married to his high school sweetheart, he served four tours in Afghanistan but was discharged for bad conduct. While working as a security guard at a high-limit poker game, he is shot and killed during a heist.

PIT BOSS
This pit boss at a high-limit poker game is confused and disturbed when the lights abruptly go out.

BRANDON
a smart-ass tech-whiz, he wins $600,000 in a poker hand, bringing his total earnings for the night up to more than a million dollars. However, he doesn't get to enjoy his riches for long.

Well it looks like there is a murder involved. Dang I was really hoping for an episode without one. They had cases in the beginning that didn't all involve homicide.

Despite my low expectations, I'm still really hoping I'm wrong and season 14 becomes a step up in terms of quality, at least after the premiere.... Otherwise, I'm far from optimistic this time.

Interesting they haven't posted any spoiler pictures yet, or is it usually too soon for that?

They just started filming last Thursday. The only thing we'd get at this point is twitpics and they don't seem to be doing much of that so far. They might think they did a little too much of it last year and might try to keep things a little more... secret... this year - try to draw in viewers by not letting out as much before episodes air.

Well, if they do stay more discreet in terms of spoilers, that's not a bad idea.

They could drive us nuts taking pictures of a car tire, or a shoe, or hair, you know... We'd eat it up.

Well it could be a good episode, but we'll see. However there is a two things which I personally really want to see. First, I think it's impossible- Miami Tautner (from season 10) attack in Las Vegas. I remember that in 10x18 he came out but I'm not sure. Unfortunately CBS don't get a 11th season so I think this plot is not ended. And second, and here I think it could be a possibilty to return- Sqweegel. I wait for his return to Las Vegas since episode where we met him. What you think about this? Any chances to realize? :)

LAST MAY AND LOOKING FORWARD TO FALL, ON CBS…

SEASON FINALE: The CSI team realized they had a serial killer on their hands as Russell pieced together the reasons why. Morgan went undercover to get close to the killer and went missing, along with Captain Brass’ daughter.

NEW SEASON: In the season premiere, the CSIs delve into the world of reality television when the contestants on a food competition show turn out to be using odd ingredients. In the series’ 300th episode, the CSI “Old Guard” look back to where each of them were when the show began, as they revisit a cold case that’s haunted them for 14 years.

It will be great to have Grissom, but I think that they maybe say something about him in case. Some days ago I was watching episodes with miniature killer from season 7 and it was great. I will wait for 300th episode :)
