That was awesome! I am speechless!!

I mean all around this ep was fantastic!:D Their scenes were sooo cute together. "We're supposed to do things together now" when I heard her say that when she went to visit him in the detention center, I KNEW they were already together....:D

"I have the safest house in Miami. Do you know how many guns I have?" :guffaw::guffaw: I nearly peed myself when I heard her say that!

And of the course, the kiss...the KISSES!! Perfect, excellent....Everything about this ep was awesome.

I loved this episode, all of it. Of course the EC moments were the best :). Calleigh was so concerned throughout the whole thing. When she went to see him in the detention center and that whole dialogue...awwww :adore:. I loved when she said "I like that lie" or something like that referring to his life. Then when she talked about the hospital and he quickly assured her that he meant it all it was adorable. And of course the last scene... oh be still my heart. :adore:

A hug, TWO kisses, initiated by HER.... The guns comment was so funny  and her talking about her COOKING, yay!!! I'm so excited that I have no idea how I'm going to sleep tonight.

Good Question I don't know if I heard them say anything about if the hit was dropped! i'll have to watch it again when it posts on Youtube.
And yes it will be on the Hiphuggers youtube and My space Sites as soon as I can get it! So if you can post it please do so!

I loved it when Calleigh said she had the safest house in Miami and if you protect me I'll Protect you! That was so cute!

I hope we get those picture from the photo shoot soon so we can get them post. Yeah! And we had great night also on 24 I can die happy now:thumbsup::):)

Despite what you think I have not 'yelled' at anyone and I'm not about to kill you guys. ;)

That was a good idea suggesting the chat room. Thanks! We do that for NY.

Oh good lord, guys, knock it off. kinkapoodles is about to kill us...

I'm not watching the episode until tomorrow, but I've got many of the things from reading the comments. I find it interesting that there were two kisses, both initiated by Calleigh. It's sort of like saying that she has come around enough that she doesn't need to hide her feelings anymore. She's free to be happy and be with Eric, and she's come around to the fact that he does in fact love her.

However- is it really realistic that she's come around this fast? How much time as passed between 7.14 and now?

I think it is realistic that she's come around. Calleigh's feelings for Eric have been obvious and I think she was just waiting for him to admit his feelings for her. Now he finally has, nothing is holding her back anymore. Like you said she is free to be happy and she looks very happy at the end.

I just saw the episode. I must say while I was waiting for their moment at the end I was very excited. Then after their beautiful moment, I got a LITTLE teary but surprisingly I wasn't ready to go jump around the walls. Did anyone else feel calm and peaceful. It seems silly but now I go to sleep knowing Calleigh and Eric are finally happy.

I don't know if I still need to put these spoiler tags but I'm going to just to be safe. The mods are already mad at us.
My what an episode! I loved Calleigh and Eric's scene, both in the jail and outside of it. I wish they had more time together but I must be aware of other viewers feelings. It was a nice dose of romance, what a great wrap up to their never ending dance during the previous seasons, yet you know there is so much more to tell. March is the month to be!
Anyways, back on track here. Calleigh seems so happy and so does Eric but its nice to see Calleigh, who always gets with the wrong guy to finally wear her heart on her sleeve for Delko. Her marriage line was funny and boy was I thinking things! But my favorite lines were when Eric told her his life was a lie and she replied 'I like lies'. And then at the end when she was teasing him saying she'd make him a real American dinner since he was new to their country. Too cute. Aren't we blessed to have some wonderful writers who fulfill our needs as shippers?
Oh and seeing this couple throughout the episode and at the end, its hard to believe that they would be having problems in the future (its inevitable). They seem too much like the perfect couple in those fairytales. I just hope the writers don't make their issues too serious that would result in their breakup. Even though, as someone said before on this thread, I doubt the writers would let this build up to now and then blow it all away with some silly situation but SOMETHING is going to happen and its definitely keeping me on my toes analyzing every bit of their lines together.

Phew, I felt like that was alot. I hope you guys weren't getting bored reading that.

I'm kind of stuck on the idea of Calleigh cooking for Eric. It's just so.. sweet. And that whole scene at the end with them made me giggle. It was all totally worth the wait. I really enjoyed the part when she went to see him in the detention center.:) That was obviously the big clue in that they were already together when she said they're suppose to be doing things together now. Aw, and he had to tell her that he meant every word he said when she was in the hospital.. aw.

Good Question I don't know if I heard them say anything about if the hit was dropped! i'll have to watch it again when it posts on Youtube.

I have it on PVR and it doesn't say anything specific or come right out saying the hit was dropped, but I think the scene in which Alexander Sharova (Eric's Dad) shows up at the detention centre kind of implies that. Horatio said that Sharova was "Here for you Eric". I am assuming that apart from the obvious declaration of citizenship, Sharova also probably called off the hit.

Personally, the look that Sharova was giving Eric says no way he still has a hit on Eric's life.

ONe of my favorite episode with 7.14

I love it i love it i love it i love it ... I was so excited of Calleigh and Eric that i lost some part of the show lol.. Texting and watching at the same time is a little bit complicated lol ...

The scene of Calleigh and Eric in the detention center was so cute ... and all the scenes with Cal were amazing ..
Wow , it's been a while since the last scene of H and Cal ...

and now the best scene ever .. the HUG , the two kisses , the smile , and Cal remark loool , it was so funny and so cute ... I squeee a little bit too much on my bed .. I cry of joy a little bit ... I want to rewatch it but my recorder is not working at the moment :(

This was by far the best episode of the season. I like that it wasn't too much about E/C...just the right blend. The teamwork was awesome. The E/C scenes were awesome. It was nice to see Yelina back.

I loved, loved the end of the episode with Cal and Eric outside the detention center.
"I don't wanna put you in any danger."
"I have the safest house in Miami, have you seen my gun collection?"

I think we are supposed to assume there's been a little bit of a gap between episodes which would make the relationship a little bit more realistic for Cal to be the one to inciate those KISSES!!!!!
o and the preview for next week shows them in at least one scene together...Yay!!!!

Hey, I'm one of the guilty parties here about off topic material. But right now, until everyone here has actually seen the episode, which, I'll admit didn't disappoint and I really liked Sean Combs in, posting on topic has to be done in spoiler code. I get that but, I ha a question to the mods. Even though it's in spoiler code, is that still considered an on topic post? I'm fuzzy on that.

That being said/asked, I'm obviously not a mod. However, I really, really beg for posts that are not three lines of Squee or OMG. We are not 12 year old Valley Girls texting their little fingers off. We are intelligent individuals (regardless of age) and have the full use of a keyboard. I don't see how typing out a full words and sentences would be a problem. I understand the excitement of our ship going canon, but we really need to be more literate in our posts just in case the actual writers pop in from time to time as some on this uber forum have sometimes said.

I apologise to the mods for being off topic and, perhaps, overstepping myself, but I think that was something that might have needed saying and nobody really wans to be the complete warden, especially since we're having a little celebration.

I loved all the HH moments, thank you writers!

-love Eric scuba diving, yay!! A very pleasant surprise indeed! I was just thinking the other day about how it's been ages since we've seen him in 'gear'. But I was really concerned when he got caught in the nets :( Too bad Cal wasnt there to help him towel off afterwards.

-even tho she had such a worried look on her face at the detention ctr, loved Cal's little wave to Eric as he's escorted in to meet her. Just the look of anticipation of seeing her on Eric's face says it all!

-She told him they're supposed to share everything together now (which implies they're dating) and you can feel that she feels a bit hurt that Eric didn't tell her that his birth cert. was fraudulent and he knew he could have talked to her about it.

-did anyone noticed how after Eric said he meant everything he said to her at the hospital, Cal's face said it all (way to go Emily!), she became a little choked up like she was thinking "My God, I truly love this man sitting in front of me and he loves me back ten fold"??

-It was sweet when she tells him "I happen to like the lie" when he laments that his entire life is a lie

-Her saying how "We'll get through this" rather than "YOu'll get through this" says a lot about their relationship. She wouldn't necessarily have said that to him if it had happened at the start of the season. I love how Cal always calms Eric down when he's angry, upset or concerned.

-I was waiting for either Cal to whip out his favourite snack from the paper bag or for Eric to say "what's in the bag?" as I'm sure for those who didn't get the spoilers would be wondering what was in the bag??

-My favourite was the end, now how big of a hug was that from Cal?!!!! Considering their height difference, that was almost a bear hug she gave him! Aww, like they didn't want to let each other go.

-Aww, they gave us two shut up kisses! Gotta love 'take-charge' Cal as she initiated both of them. yeah, I agree, their kiss, while hot, didn't seem as if it was their first time....hmmmmm

-Wonder what she's going to cook for him at her place? Southern? Fried chicken? Taters?

-Soo cute when she says her place is the safest and then asking him if he knows how many guns she has - don't @#$% w/Cal or she'll shoot your head off in a nano second!

-aww, so sweet when they walk off together with their arms wrapped around each with her saying "You can protect me, I can protect you". That's my favourite line now!!!!

Phew, I felt like that was alot. I hope you guys weren't getting bored reading that.

The thing That I thought was really good about this, is that there were very little scenes with those two, but they both were very good! I got up and did my insanly unplanned for Happy dance!! It was just so calm!

ok....one more page to read and i would've lost the chance to view the episode... by the way, i'm going now to but, after what i read from you has to be amazing and reassuring for all of us that were a little scared about the screen time thing.
should i still put the tags? just for being on the safe side:
the detention center scene seems even more interesting that we hoped. i mean we get the confirmation that they are dating and they address the scene from Smoke.... waw...
the gun collection? somebody is reading our minds,,,, or at least the board.... that sounds just like something we would make Cal to say.
scuba diving? again... somebody loves as...
almost forgot (ha ha,like i was going to do that...) is nice to see that we were right about being 2 kisses and a hug. tha dinner comment was still extra.

ok, i hope i made the mandatory 3 lines, going to ber back in an hour with the rest after actually seeing the episode.

Sorry for being off topic....Does anyone know how far in advance they film episodes before they're aired? Are we like like two months behind them, so if we're getting 7.16 tomorrow, they have already filmed or filming 7.20?
They usually film around three weeks before an episode. They probably haven't filmed 7x20 yet because it's only been three weeks since the spoilers came out and they'd have to have time to cast the guest stars. My guess is that it won't be filmed until at least this coming week or next week.

Thanks kinkapoodles and delkolover for the insight, I've always wondered about how the process worked but keep forgetting to ask, figured someone would know! If they are filming 7.20 this week and we're supposed to get 25, I think, episodes this season, then I would think they're heading to Miami soon for the last few shows? Oooh, can't wait for any any promo pics for E/C for 7.20!

Finally listened to Emily's radio interview, she's funny as usual. My ears defnitely perked up when she mentioned seeing Adam shirtless  Logically it would be the upcoming bathroom scene with E/C, yay!! But like some of you said, I'm praying that it's another scene in addition to the bathroom one. I know I should be grateful for shirtless Eric in Power Trip but once doesn't cut it! As awkward as it may be for Emily and Adam to do a bedroom scene, I'm sure they can suck it up and endure the embarrassment of filming in front of the entire crew for the sake of us HH fans!

It has aired on the west coast but just in case:

Thinking about it more, while this is a huge moment for E/C and going canon, it was also a gigantic step for Calleigh's character because she pretty much initiated everything in this episode that finally solidified them being together (despite it's hinted they just starting dating not that long ago). It was HER who said the things ("Aren't we supposed to share things together now?", "All the things you said at the hospital", "I happen to like the lie!", "We'll get through this", "Would have married you" - albeit jokingly, and "You'll protect me, I'll protect you", and it was HER actions (her HUGE hug for him, her TWO 'shut the hell up' kisses, asking him back to her place, and offering to cook for him) that spoke volumes about where our Calleigh is by jumping into the boat with both oars with Eric and finally letting go of her emotional hang ups and fears of getting involved with Eric.

Sorry for the mini rambling and if I sounded if I was repeating myself, it's b/c I'm not as clear and concise as the rest of you guys!

I was finally able to watch the episode, at 2am, no thanks to KENS TV and their decision to show the Spurs basketball game. I figure spoiler tags aren't needed since the episode has shown in all time zones. So... here's the recap of E/C moments.

Calleigh is already sitting at the table in the detention center when Eric comes in. As he walks toward the room (escorted by guards) Calleigh watches him and waves to him. She smiles as he sits down and asks what the INS attorney said, and he tells her that they are fast-tracking his deportation hearing. She asks him why he didn't say anything about his birth certificate being a fake, saying to him that it is a huge deal. He tells her he just couldn't wrap his brain around it. She tells him "We're supposed to do stuff together now then, right? I mean all the stuff you said to me at the hospital about us..." He looks at her, serious, and says "I meant all of it" and she nods her head. He says "Its like all of a sudden my life is a lie" and she says with something of an emotional smile "Its alright, I happen to like the lie." He smiles at her, she's smiling at him and says "You could have told me". He sits back in the chair (up to now they were both leaning over the table toward each other) and says that this is crazy, and she says "Yeah... we'll get through it." Nothing is said about the snack in the bag that sat on the table the whole time.
It turns out that evidence from the tooth pinpoints Eric's dad was born in New Mexico. Horatio goes to him and his dad explains how he became "Russian" (CIA). Its proven that Eric is indeed American, with his dad's help.

Calleigh is waiting for him when he leaves the detention center. She opens her arms and says "You missed out" and at that point he picks up the pace as he's walking to her (walking faster, not quite running) and they hug each other. Calleigh tells him "I was gonna marry you but your dad stepped in." Eric chuckles and says "Well what makes you think I would say yes? Maybe I met somebody special on the inside." Calleigh looks demurely at him and says "I doubt his cooking is as good as mine." He smiles and she continues with "Hey, why don't I take you back to my place and cook you a traditional American dinner since you're new to our country. He chuckles again, smiling at her and says "That sounds good." Then he says "But danger has been following me everywhere." Cal shakes her head slightly and reaches her arms up around his neck and kisses him. As the kiss ends he's looking down at her, this serious look on his face. His hands are on her hips, her hands on his chest, and he continues saying "Calleigh I'm serious, I don't want anything to happen to you" and its when he says "you" that she presses her lips to his in another kiss, shorter than the last one.

When the kiss ends she looks at him and says "Come on, I have the safest house in Miami. Do you know how many guns I have?" As they walk away arm in arm and she says "You protected me, I'll protect you."
