    casting news

Peter Coyote, whose most recent TV gigs have included Brothers & Sisters (as Nora's pre-Treat Williams love interest), The 4400 and Commander in Chief, next will guest-star on Tuesday night's most-watched program, NCIS, TVGuide.com has learned exclusively.

In the CBS procedural's first-ever Christmas episode, Coyote will play a Vietnam War veteran believed to have been dead for the past 12 years. Gibbs & Co., however, discover that the vet is still alive when his fingerprints turn up during a murder investigation.

I leave you with an utterly random "trivia" bit I stumbled upon at IMDb just now: Coyote once tested for the role of Indiana Jones. Only now, having just trudged my way through No. 4 on DVD, can I say, "Bullet dodged, Peter."

    ^^
I guess he'll appear in flashbacks from "Last Man Standing".
It's a pity they killed him off, he would have made an interesting recurring character.
Btw, at the imdb they listed him as uncredited in "Murder 2.0"

USA is airing a marathon of NCIS on Tuesday. You can check their website for which episodes their showing, but they're showing it all day. :D

Loved the end of last night's epi, Gibbs placing Langer's photo on the wall of heroes. I was surprised that Vance still seems totally unaware of Lee's duplicity. Gibbs really needs to talk to Ziva; in the first epi, she seemed to know something detrimental about Lee, given the expression on her face when she saw Lee was still there. Don't these team members ever communicate? :scream: I'm glad it looks like Langer is on the road to being cleared. (Love Jonathan LaPaglia, brother of Anthony of Without a Trace) And I still don't like Vance. Am I the only one? I've just never been able to trust him: he seems so two-faced. At first, I thought it was just prejudice because I liked Jenny so much. :( But now, it appears he really is anti-Gibbs and you know we can't countenance that!

The episode was good :) ^^^ You're not the only one who's getting irritated by Vance, but there must be a storyline there :shifty: We'll just have to wait what it is... maybe it has to do with Lee after all. And she knows Gibbs is getting suspious. She not comfy being around Gibbs. Tony was well... Tony again  Great performance. Loved the interaction between Ducky and Gibbs with the profiling :guffaw:But I wished way too much Abby in this ep :(

Mark Harmon was on the Late Late show. Here's the linky http://nl.youtube.com/watch?v=vdRPOyByEGY

I agree at first with him bringing the team back I was all pro-vance but there is still something there. I think CSISenna may be right that there's a story to it.
One person definately annoying is Agent Lee.
Thought that McGee and Tony were both great this week probably the best of the bunch and it was good to see them giving "Dwayne" advice for FLETC at the end.
Ducky as usual can see straight through Gibbs (except of course the whole hidden family thing lol) and his profile was brilliant! Would have been nice to see him offer Gibbs some advice or a friendly ear for his concerns instead of just letting him know that he knows he feels vulnerable.
It's obvious at this stage that Gibbs believes Langer was set up, why else would he place hiim on the wall of fallen heroes... So if he believes Langer is innocent he must know that it has to be Agent Lee but what is he going to do about it?
Ziva was great this week, loved her trying to be McGeeish with the video footage but it's just not her thing lol Abby with the whole minority report type memory shuffleing thing lol

Saw Mark on the Late Late show, great interview but it seems to me they always talk about the same hings on chat shows. Craig should have tried to get us some juicy gossip lol but it was interesting to find out about his dad and how he isn't a keen flyer.

That's enough from me I guess!

Re Mark Harmon's dad: what he didn't say is that his father, Tom Harmon, went on to become one of the greatest U.S. college football coaches of all time. :)

I'm surprised at Mark Harmon's seeming humility. I guess it's my stereoptype, but most college football stars (and he was an All-American) I've met are arrogant. I really liked the interview, though I would have liked a couple more minutes so they could have discussed NCIS. Need clues, hints!!!
