    2. You can lift fingerprints and shoeprints with things found in a hardware store.

    1. I learned that you can lift fingerprints from shell casings using Smith's Solution.
    2. I learned that sulfur can be used to make molds of footprints( CSI:Cold Burn)

    4.There are two types of finger prints (csi miami) :D

    5. A video spectral comparator can be used to see if two different inks were used.

    1. Always use ALS on a threshold ---you may find a footprint.

    I learnt that a fingerprint can be lift from some lab gloves (CSI:Miami)

    I learned that there are flashlights which have different colours to make prints and other things visible.

    Adding to this:
    13) That you can fake a fingerprint using a mold & epoxy, and oil. Blood can then be dripped onto it to give the impression of a bloody fingerprint.

    14) I Learned that Sperm can survive at least 4 hours in open air before bacteria eats away at the tails. (CSI:LV episode "Boom")

    15) Always carry a can of hairspray, for preserving fragile evidence :D

    16) Insects can be a lot of help for determining T.O.D (in real life, it's called forensic entimology, it's fascinating!)
