George/Nick: Texan Charm #13

Happy for George and Monika and their coming addition. :)

I have to ask having seen this several times, why does everyone assume Nick has one brother and five sisters?

I've seen the ep with he and Cath racing and where he comments his brother is/was a gear head but I never took it to mean he only had one brother.

When I've met firefighters grocery shopping, etc. I'll mention my brother being a retired firefighter but I also have another brother. I've never said, oh, my oldest brother was a firefighter, I just say, my bro was a firefighter and ask them what house they're with, etc.

Curious. :vulcan:
The original bio for Nick that CBS made up stated that he was the youngest of 7 and had 1 brother and 5 sisters. This was back around season 5 and earlier. CBS eventually took it down when they changed their site since they didn't stick to those bio's in later years.

Ah. Thank you for that clarity. I have a book that just says he's the youngest of seven. Learn something new every day.

Looking forward to tonight's episode (for once!) with Nick and Doc on a road trip to Mexico! Won't actually watch it until tomorrow, but will be joining the chat with George and RDH tonight. The last one George did was so fun! :)

He was great in tonight's episode! :)

And the chat was fun too! I have a transcript of his part of the chat posted on our Facebook fan page here.

Some how I actually managed to stay awake FOR "CSI"! After 2 days of shoveling I wasn't sure I was going to actually make it TO "CSI".

Love a good Nicky and Doc story almost as much as a good Nicky and Brass story.

Barely remember the Sara/Greg story. :alienblush: Do remember that I thought the bones were going to collapse when Sara(?) broke the expanding concrete off but I guess I was just remembering that one season 5 episode when it happened to Catherine and Grissom.

Like that the Mexican coroner and Federale went from not entirely sure (maybe even a little combative) about Nick and Doc being there to practically friends with them.

And Nick's "who cares" attitude. Something killed that girl and it wasn't drugs and he was going to find out what it was even if it put his life at risk.

This is supposed to be a BTS video of the chat that CSI_CBS tweeted. It comes up instagram and I can't see it on this computer (can finally see instagram again on the other computer tho :cardie: ) so...

Watch a behind the scenes video from 2nite's #CSI live chat

I really enjoyed last night's episode. I was a beautiful looking epside - loved the colors. Loved Doc and Nick working together. And I loved Doc and Nick working with their Mexican counterparts.

And I loved when Brass called Nick, Nicky. I always love that.

Nicky was awesome eyecandy too.
