Great interview with Gary on 60 Minutes. He's remarkable and inspiring. They did the interview on CSI: NY set! Plus, the wounded (amputee) soldier who was a suspect in "DOA for a Day" for "killing" suspect X was also in the interview. He talked about how Gary inspired him to be strong and that there's more in life.
aww, that's our boy :luvlove: I'm really bummed I had to miss it live on tv, but I guess that's what the internet for... And that's awesome they shot it on the NY set!
That was a fantastic interview. Gary is such an amazing guy, of course, I am preaching to the choir. LOL I am so excited to see more of him on CSI:NY's next season (doing a little happy dance).
So at the Rangers game tonight, Gary threw out the first pitch. According to one of my friends who lives down there and was watching the game on tv, he totally missed home plate but was so utterly adorable and *Gary* And these pics were on Yahoo sports already.... :adore: :adore: :adore: :adore: :adore: :luvlove: :luvlove: :luvlove: :luvlove: oh. dear. god. the stubble....that smile....those eyes....*dies*
Jade, tell your friend, Thanks!! Here is the link to him throwing... Maybe he just isn't ready yet.. http://deadspin.com/5910991/in-attempting-to-throw-tonights-rangers-first-pitch-gary-sinise-showed-lieutenant-dan-has-no-arm-either Adding those pictures to my photobucket collection.
I loved the interview, but I forgot about the game I know what my mixup was, I somehow got the idea it would be a Cubs game LOL. ohwell. Nice pics
Cubs game was last Sunday but because the rain delayed it, he couldn't sing but he was interviewed in the fourth inning. He will come back in the summer.
I have noticed something though. He doesn't seem to tweet as much as he used to. I would have thought he would have tweeted about throwing out the first pitch. Wondering if maybe he only tweets public events like the band at Joe's bar in Chicago. EDIT: I would have thought he'd have tweeted about the 60 Minutes program talking about him.
Here's another link to another article about the first pitch. http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/mlb-b...e-first-pitch-not-worthy-oscar-142516062.html Poor Gary.
Yeah. I do wonder if maybe when he had that accident it might have not only hurt his neck but his shoulder too.
I have noticed he doesn't tweet as much as he was before the accident. Of course, right now he is busy with the band and not on set at CSINY. He use to do a lot of his tweeting on set. I hope he is feeling alright these days. As for the press on the first throw... he can't do it all.
These pics are from Joe's Bar where he was at a few weeks ago. There was a banner that I had to crop out, thank goodness for those. There are more photos but I have at least 20. I will post only five at a time.
Forgive me for the double post... Someone please post after this so I can post more pics or remind you of what Gary is doing. On Sunday night he will be on KPBS doing the Memorial Day concert. Check your listings and I will be record it.
