    Just last week, Mac was all 'look how far you've come since the Early Days' - he hasn't come very far, it would seem. He went from needing Flack and Mac to save his ass to needing his wife to save his ass.

    My guess is that they want this to look like Lindsay has Danny's back, but it looks more like she's holding his hand.

    Although I suppose Lindsay must have studied up on all of the IAB protocol because she knew her boneheaded husband would step in it sooner or later and she needed to be able to clean up the mess.

    Is that supposed to be cute? This isn't even about not liking DL, this is about being really annoyed at how this storyline is playing out. I really feel like the writers could have done a better job of balancing 'Lindsay supports Danny' with 'Danny is a grown man.' For better or worse, this isn't his first rodeo.

    @SpookyLights Thank you!

    Oh c'mon, please don't tell me they start pairing Belknap with Cahill now. The last thing I wanna watch is Lindsay on the streets together with Don Flack. In my opinion, she's a horrible actor and that doesn't change if you put her in a scene together with an extra-ordinary actor like Eddie. It seems to me that they just don't know what to do with her and this appears to be the solution. I just hope Flack isn't the next character on the list that has to make sacrifices, so Lindsay gets to be the superstar again.

    Looks like Giovinazzo gets a break... :lol: ... at least for a little while.

    Gary Sinise would like to do a cross over with Blue Bloods and/or Criminal Minds (I personally think Criminal Minds is too brilliant and CSI: NY is far from being in the same league script-writing wise)

    Well, she is a "warrior." ;)

    Honestly I have no problem with Lindsay being out of the lab in theory. It doesn't make sense to have her always be stuck in the lab and never be in on busts. She's as much of a cop as Jo, Mac, Danny and Flack. What bugs me is Belknap can't pull off threatening and intense. It always comes across laughable.

    At least if she's paired with someone else, she isn't stuck together with Danny yet again. That's a bit of a plus, even for a big D/L person...it gets repetitive after a while.

    Now that Danny is back in the lab... I guess this means Adam is um... back to his lab rat position and will only see him once or twice. :(

    That is true. Plus Belknap isn't as annoying to me if she's with other people. I'm still not a fan by any stretch of the imagination, but she does have better chemistry with the others than she does with Carmine, IMO.

    From Kristin's DL - I mean - Non News - I mean - Spoiler Chat :rolleyes::

    Why would anyone give a @$%&! about what DIDN'T HAPPEN?!? :brickwall:

    On another note, maybe I wouldn't have been so put off by Lindsay if they actually had kept this scene.

    ETA: Sorry for the double post. I didn't realize I did it.

    I might try a library DVD check out to see it once it's out.

    I still think it's interesting how people can look at something and see different things...how some can see chemistry and some not. It'd be boring if we all saw the same thing, but it's still interesting.

    I'll be glad when the Jo arc starts, it looks good.

    Re: Season 8 Spoiler Discussion - There's Nothing You Can't Do In New

    I agree. I'd hoped the move to the 'street' side of things would force Danny to grow up a bit and start sorting out his *own* problems and even taking responsibility for others. As you say, there needs to be better balance between Danny needing support from his wife/colleagues and Danny being immature, irresponsible, incapable of sorting out his own problems and constantly needing someone to hold his hand and save his ass. I know Danny has always been the most emotional character on the show, and the show's resident 'damsel in distress', but he's also been a cop and a detective/CSI for several years, for God's sake, and he's a father. I think the writers are trying to push Lindsay as the 'strong female/strong wife' which would be okay except they go too far and make Danny seem too dependent.
