8.10 "Clean Sweep" - I'll be back in a bit with more information.

8.10 "Clean Sweep"

~ Anthony Brock and Darren Petrov are cage fighting, and Anthony gets the upper hand. He knocks Darren out, but Darren corners him after the fight and accuses him of cheating. Anthony doesn't rise to his bait, insisting that he just wants to go home and see his wife. Maybe Darren will beat him next time.

~ When a body is found burned beyond recognition, it looks like Anthony is dead. He was killed, doused with gasoline and set on fire. They find his driver's license next to the body.

~ A man named Marty comes into the precinct with a long coat covering himself. Flack approaches him and smells gasoline on his clothes, and they see that he's covered in blood. He says he might have killed someone the night before, but he doesn't remember because he was too drunk after celebrating his 21st birthday.

~ Aaron Coltrane knew Anthony in high school, and he blames Anthony for ruining his chances at becoming a professional cage fighter after he was injured during practice. He has been stalking and threatening Anthony and his wife since they lived in Colorado, but he denies killing the man.

~ Despite finding several likely suspects, the team discovers that the body doesn't belong to Anthony...​

Awesome pic, love it .

Cage fighting, body burned beyond recognition, and walking in covered in blood and not remembering. 8.10 sounds like a mix of different episodes I've already seen lol.

I'll be interested to see Mac's interactions with the Marine involved in 8.10, I enjoyed watching his interactions with the Marine Lt (?) in 'Heroes' and the way Price's murder affected them. Then there was that little scene in 'DOA for a Day' with the Navy SEAL who lost his legs in Iraq and the guy said something to Mac like 'what would you know about it' (meaning, I think, his time over there) and Mac said 'more than you think' and there was this look between them, like a moment of recognition. So yep, I'll be interested to learn what happens with Mac and the Marine involved in this case. There had damn well *better* be something, even if it's just like in 'Heroes', with Mac knowing Marine-type things like what Price's medals meant and what the 'bull ring' was. It would be especially interesting this time as we know Mac was injured at least once in the Marines (Beirut) and I suspect more than once, he has a Silver Star...We had some excellent background stuff with Claire in 'Indelible' so to even get a bit about his time in the Marines as well this season would be wonderful....

I agree. If TPTB is going to focus on more personal stuff like they said they are this season then this would be a missed opportunity if they didn't have more information about Mac as a Marine.

I always love more backstory like that. It would be nice.

They reshowed Some Buried Bones tonight....anyone think we'll ever see Adam's dad show up? I'd love it just to see the team get all protective of him and stuff. And Adam stand up to him. That would be awesome.

I'd love it if Adam's dad showed up or was at least mentioned again. Since TPTB made the comment about almost everyone getting a relationship this season I'm guessing they're choosing to focus on romance for most of the character's personal stories. It's a shame if that's the way it goes,though, because following up on his family would be much more interesting.
