The opening was chilling, I enjoyed this episode. Unfortunately Ryan wasn't on much but Natalia was and it was nice to see her relating to a victim of abuse.

Always great seeing Eric again! Can't wait until he is back full time!

Jesse, I felt bad for him. It is great to have a boss like H, he really fights for his team.

I thought the episode was kind of interesting although over-hyped.

Loved it. Kept squealing "please show my grandma's house!!" well worth the wait for me. thought everyone was in top form tonight, and plenty of Natalia too. and i thought H talking about the Beatles was cute.

I didn't hate it, I didn't love it. I felt it was a little too fast passed, and choppy. I felt like the story's were raced, and the focus was clearly on the directing rather than the story.

I liked it overall-didn't catch that Beatles thing? did the LA police chief guy say he was in attendance that show? like he's an LA native? I was so sure it was the atty or somebody else and that the porn king was just a sleaze but not a murderer; I hope his wife runs for her life and takes his bank acct w/her as compensation for her best friend's brutal murder..loved Coop Daley's snide comments esp. about height to Ryan-that actor Madsen is like the only person I know to get away w/goofing off comments to whoever and nobody will reprimand him or think less-he gets away w/alot of attitude and it's amusing in this s/l tonight...I'll give it a B+

Meh. It was an okay episode but way overhyped.

I actually thought the writing was bordering on childish. Some of the lines were just...ridiculous. I'm sure they looked great on paper but they sounded awkward and silly on-screen.

And agreed with what was said above, I think the episode was more about direction/cinematography then the actual story.

Although I did like the lawyer (I believe he was the villain on the Star Trek: Generations movie)--he made the episode interesting. I can't remember if we'll be seeing him again but it would be really cool.

Overall, it wasn't as great as some of the previous episodes, in my opinion.

I agree, speed cochrane, it was overhyped and childish. The guest stars were overacting and silly to me. All the writers could come up with for Ryan is a height joke again. Come on writers, this insulting to the viewers! I don't have a clue who this Zombie guy is, but I came in with an open mind. After watching it, I couldn't figure out what he brought to the show that was so different from any other director. I am coming away from this season mostly feeling manipulated and unsatisfied.

Good thing I didn't set my expectations too high or else they would have dashed dramatically!

I liked that this episode got into the backstory of Jesse's past and allowed Eddie to take some scenes in the fore-front where he could show his acting chops, but I have to say they barely scratched the surface on this one. Eddie got a few scenes to emote and look angry, but that was it and it left me feeling rather unsatisfied because I know that Eddie can do much better if the writers would just give him the material. For an episode about Jesse, it seemed to focus more on Horatio's mission and the other girl's murder case with Jesse just kind of randomely popping up in scenes.

I can only hope that Eddie/Jesse will get a better episode to shine in the future as the character of Tony Enright is suppose to be back soon in a few episodes for the big dramatic showdown for the season finale.

Now as for the guest stars, Mini Anden as Anna is the one that stood out from the pack, she was simply amazing, her emotions were so real on her face that you can see clearly into her soul. To think that she went from playing a sexy brash spy on Chuck to an abused and frightened wife on Miami and able to seemlessly transform herself so well is a testament to her great acting ability.

The three big heavy weight guest stars that was hyped so much about really didn't do much for me. Michael Madsen was average, Malcolm McDowell was pretty good as the sleazy lawyer, but I have to say, as a big William Forsythe fan since his days on UC: Undercover, I was sorely disappointed that his character was a generic non-interesing whispery-voiced chief of police, I had expected better.

On the good side, after all this sort of negativity I had toward the whole Adam/Eric-returning-possible-other-cast-leaving thing, I was totally giggling my head off at Eric's enthusiam on heading to LA with Horatio. There was that one moment before they get into the elevator that Eric's got this bright smile on his face like a kid in a candy store. I really think they should let Eric smile more, because the boy looks absolutely stunning and beautiful, and oh-so-adorable when he does it! And it makes me feel all warm and gooey inside!:p

I'm firmly in the camp that believes Jesse and Horatio needs more scenes. In the few scenes in this episode, I loved what I saw. There is a connection, it's sometimes clouded by the fact that both men are rather withdrawn and quiet about their personal feelings, but there is a bond. It's clear in the way that Horatio never for once blinks an eye or doubts that Jesse was anything but honest and loyal. And Jesse seems to be simply more at ease talking with Horatio. When I watch the two of them in scenes together, it's more of a feeling that they are equals on sort of an experiences and personal level instead of being like big scary boss versus subordinate status. They seemed like two guys who could be seen on off duty hours drinking beer in a bar and hashing out stories about their lives, both of them are the jaded experienced type with a lot of baggage. Kind of like the dynamic between Gibbs and Fornell on NCIS, except Jesse is definitely younger and less experienced than Horatio but they do share a history. I think the way they talk to each other, the way Horatio's voice sorta changes and the way Jesse isn't afraid to speak up, shows more of their connection and long-time friendship.

Of course, I'm still waiting for a sappy emotional Horatio/Jesse scene soon! That would totally cement their long history!;)

Also, proof that even small moments in scenes, even in the background can speak a thousand words. Like in the scene where Jesse is going off on Tony Enright, one of the cops holding him back patted him on the shoulder as if trying to calm him down, and if one looks closely in the scene, that cop also seemed like he was whispering to Jesse to not engage Enright. It's scenes like that catches my eye and I love it!

Overall, I liked this episode, there were certainly a lot of improvements that could have been done, but this wasn't an absolutely horrible episode, and I can't complain when I get to see my favorite boy Jesse in action and learn more about him.

Oh and I must comment on the whole thing about Ryan's height remark....LOL! That jab was as funny as the first time I heard it! Don't worry Ryan! We Short People will one day rule this world, they will never see us coming!

I couldn't agree more with speed cochrane and Theresa; didn't hate it, but didn't like it either. I didn't see what all the hype was about and what Rob Zombie brought to the show.

What I didn't like in the exchange about Ryan's height, he looked at Calleigh like are you going to say something; she just sat there and let it happen. She could have at least said "that's enough" but nooo.

Not one of the better episodes.

Yep...didn't think it was that big either! kind of disapointed! I like the actors, they bring some dark side really well acted, if you know what i mean!
