Will we see Sarah Carter again on ‘CSI: NY‘? – Clarisse
“No, the character of Haylen Bacall has moved onto the FBI,” ‘CSI: NY’ executive producer Pam Veasey reminds. Carter, meanwhile, can be seen on this Tuesday’s episode of ‘White Collar.’ So there’s that.

See, TPTB can make good decisions once in a while. :p

I was pretty sure that was their way of writing her out, but it's nice to have it confirmed - I've had several people ask me if she was coming back, and I couldn't give them a definitive answer. :)

Sorry for the double post, but I just came across this video clip from tomorrow's episode. I don't know if it's been posted anywhere else.

As long as she's talking about racing stuff, I don't think Danica will be cringeworthy. :p

Seems to be a nice scene. Do we know if Lindsay, Adam or Sid will be in this episode?

Kind of wonder what the point of adding her was after all; but well, she's gone.

no, she doesn't seem like she'll be half as bad as i've been fearing.......:p i'm actually kinda looking forward to it now! gotta admit, to say i've been skeptical about her guest starring would be an understatement, and i still think it's somewhat dodgy to have such a blatant publicity stunt (guest starring in a big show just a couple days before her NASCAR debut?.........) oh well, like i said, i was pleasantly surprised by that clip!!:) thanks Fay!!:D

Hmm, I don't know. Adam was mentioned in the original spoilers, but I'm not sure about Lindsay or Sid. Since the driver ends up in the hospital at the beginning of the episode rather than the morgue, maybe this is one that won't have Sid? I can't say for sure, though, I guess we'll know tomorrow. :)

I guess they had long-term plans in mind for the character if she worked out, but they decided to get rid of her before going into any of them.

I think she could have worked out if they'd introduced her differently. She was a pretty pointless addition to the team, and so much of her purpose seemed to be making Adam uncomfortable and making him look bad - I'm not sure how much fan reaction had to do with the decision to ditch the character, but I doubt the way she was introduced endeared her to many fans. I'd be curious to know why they decided to get rid of her, though.

In "The Formula," airing at 9 p.m.
Really? I wonder if that's even right.
I think the show comes on at 9pm in the Central time zone.

I guess that truly is the end of Haylen. I agree that she didn't really work... it's too bad. I wouldn't be opposed at all to the show adding another female character, but they need to add an interesting female character, and not just keep trying to clone the perky newbie because Lindsay never really fit the bill.

Re: CSI: NY Season 6 Spoiler Discussion - Solving Crime in the Empire

^^I agree. Another female character would not be unwelcome - first with Kendall and then with Haylen (what's with the weird names?), I kept hoping they'd add someone like Garcia from Criminal Minds, and both times I was disappointed. A woman can be fun, smart as heck and adorable to boot without being Lab Barbie or Sparkly-Sue McLabpants. The additions of Adam and Angell turned out well long-term (going from a casual role to a more significant character) - it would be nice if they could recreate that magic next time they want to add another female character to the cast. Especially now that they've gotten rid of Angell :)() - we've got two major female characters and six major guys.

As a random note, I'd be all for a lab tech character who is added not so much as competition for Adam but someone he could work with as a team - where the show could emphasize how great they are together rather than focusing on how they're basically scrabbling for dominance (and Mac's approval). Competition can be good sometimes, but it soured me on Haylen really quickly. The CSIs can get along, lab techs should be able to do the same. ;)
