I'm watching 'Flight Risk' right now. A lot of Ryan in the episode, and wow. He looks HOT... :drool: (what's new?!) I am loving the way he walks at the first of it, like he owns the airport. Hehe.

^ I watched Flight Risk the other week. He does look so good there, and has a good amount of screentime. Definitely one of my favourite episodes from last season.

Today I've watched all episodes of season 8 so far and is it just me or is Ryan getting less and less screentime with each passing episode? Even Horatio as well, not to mention Natalia. It feels like the ones who has most screentime is Calleigh and Jesse. I love Calleigh, but I'm not too sure how I feel about Jesse, I haven't decided yet if I like him or if he only annoys me. It sort of feels like he's the new Horatio or something though (although there can never be "another" Horatio. He's one of a kind! ), and that bothers me a little.
I'm a bit disappointed I must admit. I've always loved CSI Miami (even more since season 3 when Jon appeared hehe ;D), but this season is the worst for me personally so far. I absolutely ADORE Walter's character, but it feels like there's too many characters and not enough time for all of them.
Am I the only one feeling like this?
I sort of thought "Die By The Sword" would center around Ryan and Natalia, especially when I read the description of the episode, but come on, am I the only one who thought it was kind of... I can't find the english word for it unfortunately, but I thought it would be more of a climax if you know what I mean? Hm, my english doesn't work properly today haha!
I am hoping that the next episode will contain more Jon/Ryan though And that it stays that way

 

I agree. I don't like Jesse, I hope he returns to L. A.

 

I must agree; his eyes are my favorite feature. He can express so many emotions with them
I think my favorite episodes from last season are:
1. WISC: for Jon's great acting
2. and 3. (tie) Collaterial Damage and Bombshell. He looked so hot in those episodes:drool::devil:

I think Ryan's screen time has gotten better since the beginning but it is still not what it should be. Sometimes I wonder how much screen time he would get if not paired with Jesse (the new golden boy) and Walter (who I actually like). My major problem with the earlier season 8 episode is them tinkering with Ryan's character and making him looking like a major doofus (which tptb seem to be getting away from and have Ryan back to where he should be thank goodness).

Both (and you can throw Frank in there too) need more screen time. Sometimes there are scenes other characters have that can just as easily go to Ryan or Natalia.

 

Agree to all. Jon's eyes are great, a close second would be the view from my banner. I also love his laugh,it was very cute when he laughed at Walter .
We have the same great taste in episodes.He also looked great in SGIYC.I just loved the blus shirt,yellow tie combo!

Again agreed. I hope at some point we will see more Ryan and not just because he is paired with the newbies.I would love to see Ryan more with Natalia and Frank.I have loved the scenes with Natalia and Ryan.

*I totally agree!!! His eyes (as I have said many times) are so expressive and he can draw you in to what he is feeling at that moment. WISC is the best example of Jon's talent, tptb threw us a bone and showcased his abilities. I hope they do it again. But, I don't want him to get in trouble again.

*I think his screentime has improved since the first half of the season. I feel that what he is getting now is more quality than quantity time. Everything is so taken over by Jesse, scenes that could have been easily done by Ryan, Nat, and Frank are being given to Jesse and for me he is still coming off like the solution for what ails MDPD. He is all over the place. Enough!!! Too many characters on this show!!!

*I really thought that there would have been more interations between Ryan/Natalia on this suject. Yes it was sort of anticlimatic, there could have been a scene where Ryan asked her what the doctor said; but nothing. If they did that what would Jesse have done?

I agree with your full analysis, slower!!!!! I thought there was going to be more interaction after the whole scene where Ryan confronted Natalia. Once again, the producers and writers make a big deal about something, only to let it diminish quickly. And I agree, while Ryan is getting screen time, the newbies are really stealing the show. :wtf:
