"We were stoked when we found out CSI: NY wanted to use our music instead of dialogue to narrate the first few acts of the episode," said the members of Green Day. "It's the first time something like this has been done on the series, and we are blown away with what we've seen."

I am intrigued on that episode they plan to use the Green Day lyrics, if done right it could blow viewers away. I can't say that I've seen anther show do anything like that. I mean sure shows have used songs to express how a actor/actresses is feeling but never as dialog
So it's the TV equivalent of a song-fic then? ;-)I am intrigued on that episode they plan to use the Green Day lyrics, if done right it could blow viewers away.
