Pushing Daisies.

Daquien

Coroner
This romantic drama shows us the strange world of a man, Ned, who can bring dead people back to life through the power of his touch. The people he touches, however, can only stay alive for one minute, and if they don't die again, someone else nearby will die. Ned decides to use his ability to solve crime. He and a local investigator, Emerson, bring murder victims back to life and find out who killed them, to cash in on case-solving rewards. But, when Ned brings an old crush back to life, and decides to let her live, things start to get complicated...

Pushing Daisies.

Anyone else watched the pilot?
I think it's going to be an interesting show,it reminded me, somehow, "Amelie".

How could someone see the "Pilot" if the show hasn't aired yet? :p

But I have to admit, this show is one I'm going to watch. :D

I'm going to watch. :D
Wednesday nights were boring on television for me but now I have 2 shows to watch. :)
Pushing Daises and Private Practice. :D

Its kind of creepy bringing the dead back for a minute but, the really cool part is catching their killer.
I'm definitely hooked! :)

I like this show. Cast works well together and it was funny. For those who missed the "Pie-lette" episode, it will be repeated on Friday night at 8:00 PM (Eastern) on ABC.

From TV Guide online about last night's ratings for the hour:
ABC's Pushing Daisies pushed all comers to the side, premiering to 12.83 million total viewers and also dominating in the key demos.

I thought the pilot was great, it reminded me of Big Fish. It was definitely like watching a Tim Burton film.
Hey, another Mahone fan, I thought I was the only one.

Tim Burton definitely. James and the Giant Peach popped to mind a lot during Pie-lette. That and the words "I love this show". So now I'm hopelessly addicted to yet another show (after only two eps). If I keep going at the rate I am, I'll be a shut-in .

^^Yeah, tell me, I watch way too many shows, I should give up watching some...
But this is a very cool show, I enjoyed the 2º episode a lot and those bright colours make it so iconable.

Pushing Daisies Picked Up for Full Season.

This fall's most inventive and entertaining new show — aka Pushing Daisies — has just been picked up for a full season. Multiple sources confirm that ABC has ordered nine additional episodes, for a grand total of 22.

Great news !!! :D

Last episode, the Halloween one, was cool, I can totally imagine Olive as a jockey and poor Ned, he had a very sad childhood, I wonder if his father is going to appear on a future episode.

It was funny than on "Pigeon" there was a bees/love scene between Ned and Chuck, like Grissom and Sara on CSI's "The Case of the Cross-dressing Carp".

No new ep until 13-14 November. :(

I hope the writers strike doesn't affect much this show.

Ausiello report TvGuide :
Add Pushing Daisies to the list of shows preparing season finales as a result of the writers' strike.

Daisies creator extraordinaire Bryan Fuller informs me that the show's ninth episode — the last one for which a script is written — can function as a season finale in the event the strike extends into the new year and beyond.

"As we were scrambling to rewrite [Episode 9]," he reveals, "we added several elements that will put many balls into the air and hopefully encourage the audience to come back and see how they land."

Fuller confirms that production on the potential season finale got under way today, which means "our crew will now be able to work through Thanksgiving."

*Bumping up*

Oh, last episode of PD for a long while... :(
And they dropped 2 bombshells: Lily being Chuck's mother and Emerson having a daughter.

3 nominations for PD in the Golden Globes: best comedy, best comedy actor Lee Pace and best comedy actress Anna Friel. :)

Wow, you gave up some information I did not want to know. I haven't gotten to watch the last episode because I tivoed it and haven't had time.

But I love this show. It is def one of the best on the air.
