NCAA Football

I'm getting ready to drive to Ann Arbor to see the Nittany Lions beat the Wolverines for the first time since 1996! :D

I'm not actually all that confident. Michigan has a knack for beating us, it would seem. Our offense needs to show they can play against a real team...not that UM's defense is the strongest right now, but Morelli & co have started slowly against weak opponents for three games now. Our D should be solid.

I'm a senior at PSU and wholly obsessed with Penn State football. If I had enough posts, I'd have my JoePa avatar up right now!

OMG Kentucky Beat Louisville! :D  :D

This is the first time we've beat a top 20 team in 30 years, 1977 was the last time. And to top it off it was Louisville! Our sworn enemy.

This town is still going crazy. On our street after the game ended (which was stressfull b/c it was almost a nightmare) everyone ran outside and there was at least 40-50 people jumping up and down in the street.

Ah...Good times :D

Hmmm...I'll look like an idiot if I admit that I am either a Notre Dame fan or an Arkansas fan...hmmm...GO LSU! Go fightin' Tigers! They'll whoop the Hogs during the Battle for the Boot, might at well pledge my allegance to Louisiana State University now.

Oh and if we drop divisions just a bit, I'll admit to liking a Arkansas team.
The University of Central Arkansas Bears have been doing pretty good considering that this is their first year up in the Southland Conferance...there I put in my good word for UCA, now when I'm there tomarrow Lou Hardin can't make me feel guilty. :D

I'm just happy my team has won the last two games. I take what I can get lately.

Today has been an interesting day in College Football...many upsets. At least my team won again. :D

Yes Dizzney it was quite a day in College Football

many Top 25 teams loosing to unranked opponets

here is the rankings for this week

polls

Yuh! We had to drop, like, three divisions but Arkansas finally found a team they could put the whoop on. Sorry, North Texas...but even losers deserve to win once or twice...hear that Notre Dame? I even wore my lucky Fightin' Irish shirt the other day and they still got stomped by Perdue.

I'll go out on a limb, but hey there aren't many other SEC fans posting so I hope I won't offend anyone.
Here's my SEC prediction.
SEC West: Louisiana State University
SEC East: University of Florida
SEC Champions: LSU
Go Fightin' Tigers!

^It's Purdue...

I hear Clausen might have lost his starting job? I do feel sorry for the kid, since his o-line is terrible and he's being thrown in there without any real experience...getting sacked every other play probably isn't how he envisioned the start of his collegiate career. But, at the same time, I do enjoy seeing Charlie Weis suffer.

I know, I was in a hurry and very hungry.
Well, we were close. I mean we held Auburn to only field goals and managed to score a touchdown on them, unfortunately they scored enough field goals to beat us.

As for Notre Dame, I love them, but I've ran out of patience with them and their losing ways.

And I still like LSU. I don't care if they lost. They'll win the SEC.
