Well, all three look good and well rested.
It`s been a long time since i`ve seen Carmine wearing glasses in his time off,so it`s a nice change

Lovely pics, ladies, thanks for sharing!! I definitely wish I was in Rome... ;)

What is Fiction Fest? It seems like a lot of TV stars were there.

The Fest celebrates all kind of fiction, both Italian and international ones. There's a section for TV Movies, Miniseries, Continuing Series, Documentaries and such and of course they've invited lots of American start since US shows are so popular around here. It ends tomorrow so unless the guys have other plans to continue their Italian vacation they should leave right after that.

A couple more for you ladies!

Woot! loving' the photos everyone!

And I would just like to point out. In the last few photos, the guys combined have like 3 buttons done up in total  Scandalous:devil:.

I was looking on Getty Images earlier and I came across this pic:

I don't remember noticing when I was watching Snow Day, but does Danny has some of Carmines artwork in his apartment? And then ther is the guitar in the corner. Why do they feel the need to morph Danny into Carmine? Not that there is anything wrong with Carmine, quite the opposite but he is supposed to be acting when he plays Danny! And I am sure he is perfectly capable of playing a character who bear no resemblance to himself.

Thanks for posting those gorgeous pics of Carmine in Italy - how the friggin' hell do people keep their hands off him?
And S5 wishes and hopes for Messer?
Less clothing. More screentime.
Less romance. More family mafia history.
Less Danny processing in the background to Coldplay.
More Danny in danger, scrapping with badguys to Sonic Youth.

...i'm gonna be sorely disappointed aren't I...:(

Well I can work out from the first article that he likes Italian food but I'm afraid that's about as far as I can get..... :D

ETA: ceesau7 (and anyone else posting pics), please remember, DO NOT hotlink (ie, post images) to pictures that are not from a site you own or an image hosting site (photobucket, image shack, etc.). Thanks!

Orison would no doubt do better, but here's what Google Translator came up with. Thanks, Google! :) Nothing too enlightening/exciting except Carmine jokes about working as a stripper (the tease! :p ) and Eddie and Carmine flirting. Here's my favorite part:

What other character of CSI NY you would have liked
interpret, apart from your?

A. J. Buckley: I like all the characters of CSI NY.

Eddie Cahill: the role of Carmine I would
sorry at all.

Carmine Giovinazzo: I would have liked to interpret
the character of Eddie.

Seriously, how cute! AJ answers the question, Eddie fangirls Carmine and Carmine fangirls him right back. So cute. :D

Here are the interviews (that bit above was from #2):

#1
ROME. The detective Danny Messer of CSI New York is
Carmine Giovinazzo, a young actor of Port Richmond,
Born and raised in a family of police officers
of NYPD Blue.

To view the full suggests that it is a ragazzetto
American, but the name betrays its origins.
Carmine, in fact, has blood Calabrian by the
father. E 'italoamericano a second-generation, but
just put the foot in Rome, during the Rome
Fictionfest 2008, to resume in the hands of its origins:
"I'm Italian, Calabrian! My name Giovinazzo, such as
country of Puglia. "
We went to intervistarlo. Carmine, despite the afa
July and nights brave for the Capital, does not lose
his desire to play and with a smug ironic
on the lips, declares that he's the charm
Italian and to love our kitchen.

- From many years, a partner in the cast of CSI, you have no fear
to remain imprisoned in your role?
No, because the first to pass the test for CSI, I was
unemployed, and then hours, is also well remain blocked
inside Danny Messer.
- Before doing the actor you were a baseball player
professional, but after you have had an accident you
has seriously damaged the shoulders, if this is not
success today would have continued his career in sport?
Absolutely yes, unfortunately, the incident has changed
my life. I had the great qualities as a player and
I would have certainly continued this profession.
- In addition to belong to a family of policemen,
some of your cousins as Buddy, Rick Giovinazzo and Larry
Romano, are actors: this has influenced you in
recitativa choice?
Yes, in fact, Larry, I suggested to follow this
road. He told me to start doing test and after
luckily I was chosen for the role in New CIS
York.
-- What do you feel italoamericano?
The passion, energy, but also in charm
of Italy.
- How's Danny Messer in you and how much of it in
Carmine?
We say that much of my character is in me and
vice versa. We would be schizophrenic if there were
something of our characters in us, after five years
is inevitable.
- You have spent five days in Rome, around the
nightclubs, you amused? You have found a
girlfriend?
They are in search of the twin, but after Rome, I hope to
sistemarmi. Yes, I enjoyed it, but I am not a
sciupa females ... I have not yet found the right woman,
but I'm looking for.
- What work have you done before making the plaintiff?
The stripper! This was positive because the evening
I spogliavo day and went to do the test. I'm
kidding! Please do not write ...
-- What do you enjoy in Italy?
The food, love to eat Italian.
-- In your family, your father cooked?
No, it was not capable, but sometimes, when I was
small, given that we had a deli, or a kind
the butcher, grocery store, then we tried.
I was very pleased. His favorite dish was
eggs and potatoes.
-- In addition to recite, paint pictures?
Yes, one of my paintings is also appeared in the CIS. Moreover,
I have a band. I love writing songs and playing
guitar.
-- What is the relationship between you and your colleagues?
Excellent. By A. J. Buckey (Adam Ross editor's note) and Eddie Cahill
(Don Flack editor's note) we are friends and absent from us in September
frequentiamo.
-- Continue to work in a television series or
want to work even a movie?
Yes, I am continually looking for different things. I
wrote a film about a group of friends in New
York and six years I hope to achieve. So, I do not
regret able to work at the cinema.

OMA - Al RomaFictionFest were greeted by warm
applause of the three protagonists of fortunatissima series
TV CSI NY, directed by Jerry Bruckeimer Carmine
Giovinazzo (Danny Messer), Eddie Cahill (Don detective
Flack) and A. J. Buckley (Adam Ross). The July 11 are
had received two new episodes of the fourth series,
that Italy will be broadcast on Fox on Crime and
Italia1, followed in America by an average of 11.3 million
viewers. For Chronica we interviewed the three
actors, Carmine Giovinazzo, Eddie Cahill and A. J. Buckley.

In your opinion, what follows the international success
CSI?

Eddie Cahill: I think that the success arrivals from the fact
that the public is made direct contact with the
forensic science. Before you start to turn all of us
we had a sort of lesson with the Head of
Forensic science. I believe that the success of CSI
goes beyond the affection of the public and a passion for
mystery.

There dates some anticipation of your characters?
What awaits them in the fourth series?

A. J. Buckley: Adam is a character yet again, a
laboratory mice that begins to leave the lair.
Slowly begin to go out and interact with
others. Finally then meets Eddie and as the
character grows.

Eddie Cahill: between the end of the fourth set and start
the fifth meet in the series what it is my
sister, he is a kind of incursion in
My life with all the consequences arising therefrom.

Carmine Giovinazzo: better not to anticipate anything. My
character will have even more dramatic reports of
the previous ones, prefer not to reveal anything.

How's the characters that you interpreted?

A. J. Buckley: Adam resembles me a lot.

Eddie Cahill: there is a lot of me in my character.

Carmine Giovinazzo: If a character for interpreters
so many years is unthinkable that is not imbued with you.

What work have you done before making the actors?

A. J. Buckley: I worked from Mc Donald, gave orders to
boys, I had a sea of responsibility [Laughter, editor's note]

Eddie Cahill: I worked for the theatre in which studying
and recitavo.

Carmine Giovinazzo: did the stripper, the night
I toglievo clothes and the morning after I went to the
test. Clearly joke.

What do you like in your free time?

A. J. Buckley: snoboard, boxing. I love to do sports.

Eddie Cahill: both physical exercise and surfing.

Carmine Giovinazzo: music, painting, I like cimentarmi
in any artistic expression.

What are your plans?

A. J. Buckley: my great passion is to stay behind
camera, I really like writing. I love the idea
to take an embryonic state and it
blossom. I wrote a couple of pilot episodes for the
tv, but I like to work in any field.

Eddie Cahill: I like to work in television and is
what I continue to do. In my opinion, is the
work that comes closest to a common work, in which
not living with suitcase in hand but at a time
established is returned to the house. I do not like the clamour that
accompanies major film.

Carmine Giovinazzo: I am looking for projects always
several. I wrote the screenplay of a movie
speaks of a group of friends in New York.

the second spin-off of the famous series CSI: Scene
Crime set in New York arrives at Rome Fiction
Fest with its protagonists A. J. Buckley (the technical
laboratory Adam Ross), Eddie Cahill (Detective Don
Flack) team murders) and the muscular Carmine
Giovinazzo (Detective Danny Messer).
Many fans realized from every part of Italy for
ask questions to their television beneamini accepted
with great applause.
Q How is work in a spin-off of success?
R C. Giovinazzo: I can not be unemployed!
Gives me a wonderful opportunity and above all, I cut
the cumbersome application by the head "that I will do now?" given
that this is a long series. Recito the role of a
Detective very controversial and tormented because of
his past, and is a very exciting challenge from the point
attoriale of view.

RE Cahill: I was very nervous when I have chosen, but
extremely happy to participate in a series of
success.
A. J. R Buckley: For me the speech is different. Venivo from
other TV series such as Bones and The Collector, and then a little
already knew what I expected. My character is a
laboratory technician who works for the scientific and
head ago in the series CSI NY until the second
season.
D Eddie Cahill, you're more at ease in your comic roles
or dramatic?
R I have preferences, but absolutely I like cimentarmi
always in different roles. CSI me the opportunity to
express all two sides of the coin, if so
we call them.
Q Why is this serial has so successfully in the public?
R C. Giovinazzo: I think it is incredibly
innovative and exciting. Many people are unaware that
is happening in the department of scientific and this
television will let you know the fascinating side
and adventure of this job, even if romanzato.

A. J. R Buckley: For me it's incredible how we can
reconstruct the story of a crime simply by
an impression, a hair, a nail through the all'ingegno
detective and technology. Is this not to
attract the public?
D Some newspapers argue that since CSI is
transmitted, even criminals are more informed and
take more precautions. And 'the truth?
R E. Cahill: I disagree. In my opinion if you are a
criminal commetti illegal and not always aspects that a
show you how to inspire them in place without
consequences.
D Do not know how to evolve your characters,
represents a challenge?
R C Giovinazzo: E 'as a metaphor of life. What
we can say what awaits us the next day? Not
we idea of what can happen, we simply
read the script and read accordingly.

D Once finished shooting, you have the habit of
riguardarvi?
R C. Giovinazzo: I do not regard often, but when the
I am very critical towards me.
R E. Cahill: Riguardarsi is useful to realize if
is in line with other others.
CSI New York is broadcast in America on CBS network and is
reached the fourth season, while Italy is
being the third season on Fox Crime (Sky).

Ooh, maybe he could call his film 'Friends' and have Eddie play the boyfriend/personal assistant of one of the lead characters. ;)

Does anyone know if Carmine speaks any Italian? I know people have often commented that they'd like to hear Danny talking in Itatlian but just wondering if Carmine knows any?? :)

^I thought he said a while back in a chat here that he didn't speak Italian, but I could be wrong. It's been a while since I looked back at the chats.
