Hannibal

A Royal Television Society Award for Graphic Design - Titles :

Graphic Design - Titles

Nic Benns, Andrew Popplestone, Rodi Kaya & David Slade, Hannibal, Momoco for Sky Living

"The jury saw this title sequence as a lesson in “less is more”, with fascinating images which draw the audience into the drama. The red liquid, evocative of both red wine and blood, builds images that are both beautiful and chilling at the same time. The typography and white background draw hints of the surgery and clinical menace to come.”

Nominees

Momoco Graphics Team, Murder On The Home Front, Carnival Film & Television for ITV1
Nic Benns, Jim Fisher, Miki Kato & Tom Bromwich, Ripper Street, Momoco for BBC One

From December 3rd's "Ask Ausiello" at TV Line:

Question: I recently saw that L-Fish has signed on to do an HBO show. How does this affect his role as Jack Crawford in Hannibal? I hope he's doing Season 2. The show wouldn't work without him. —Jared

Ausiello: It will have no impact on Lau-F's Season 2 Hannibal schedule; he will appear in all episodes produced. However, if the HBO project gets ordered to series, it would probably limit his role in a possible third season. (His Hannibal contract is season-to-season.) Bonus Scoop: Gillian Anderson will be back as H-Lec's shrink in S2's first two episodes!

Bryan Fuller made the anouncement a few days ago for the "13 Hour Devour" which will be going on Sunday February 23rd 12pm-2am. It's giving all fannibals the chance to rewatch season 1 in its entirey with certain members of the cast and crew, who will be live tweeting the event. There will also be giveaways (signed scripts, etc.) and a Q&A with Hugh Dancy (Will Graham) as well!

You can get more information about the event here

It's a very social media based event but the point is to also draw more viewers into the show, as it desperately needs ratings if it's going to be renewed for a third season (They'll need at least 6 to get through the novels!)

There's also a bunch of new 30 second promos for S2 out as of yesterday.

Hannibal Lecter (Mads Mikkelsen) assists on the case, sniffing out clues of his own from the victim's body. Meanwhile, Will Graham (Hugh Dancy) begins a plan of manipulation from within the asylum, set on proving his own innocence. Hannibal is able to put the clues together before the BAU team, arriving at the killer's silo and helping him to carry out his fascinating, yet deadly tableau...just not in the way the killer intended. To Jack's surprise the counseling turns out to be beneficial. Hannibal's March 28th episode, Mukozuke has matched the show's highest rating! This is good news, as the ratings and viewership are steadily climbing (albeit slowly).

You can also vote in a bunch of polls which help viewership and the likelihood of Hannibal getting renewed for a third season! The poll right now is one hosted by Hulu, their
"Best In Show" poll. You can vote regardless of where you live in the world (despite Hulu being an American site)
