right! Chris' birthday was yesterday, december 31st. the day before that, december 30th, she was still 7. today is january 1st, so this year she'll turn 9 and next year 10! well done :)

There is one grandma, two mothers, and two daughters. The all go to the pet store and buy three cats. Every person gets a cat. How's this possible?

*Has this been posted? It may be hard for some, but once I figured it out I really had o kick myself. lol
 
Erm is it because the Grandma is also a mother and one of the mothers is also a daughter, so in fact there are 2 mothers and 1 daughter? (Therefore just the 3 people?)

I bet I got that completely wrong...what the heck. :lol:

You gave it away by saying grandmother I think. I've always read this one that it was "two mothers and two daughters walk into a pet store." But who am I to talk?

I can't believe I haven't found this thread sooner, the only thing I love more than CSI and trivia, is brain teasers.

Sounds like the driver of an ice cream truck, that rare sighting around neighborhoods these days. I miss those Good Humor trucks. Nothing like that comes around here. I actually have to walk three whole blocks to a Baskin Robbins store.
