Emily in red

"I've never seen you looking so lovely as you did tonight
I've never seen you shine so bright
I've never seen so many men ask you if you wanted to dance
They're looking for a little romance
Given half a chance
And I've never seen that dress you're wearing
Or that highlights in your hair
That catch your eyes
I have been blind"

"I never will forget the way you look tonight
The lady in red
My lady in red
I love you"

From Lady In Red by Chris De Burgh

Actually it's ''très jolie'' :p:lol:
See? I told you my French is that bad :guffaw:
I just need to say 'je ne parle pas France' and it's done :guffaw:
**takes not of this sentence, whatever it means, just to be ready once she's in France** You're very useful too, sometimes :p

Ok I was just thinking that it's our last page of this thread. So since we're gonna open a new one very soon, think about a possible name for it

What about Calleigh/Emily #11 our "petit blond" (correct my French, for god's sake )

The sentence means "I don't speak French", now I'm usefull x2

Gosh, I've been waiting for this for so long :D And I really like the name, but I'll have to correct you once more, it's ''petite blond'' and Calleigh/Emily #12 :p
Now, I'm useful x3 :guffaw:

Actually, it's "petite blonde", and if I quote one of the reporters:
"une très jolie petite blonde". This is how Emily was described in one of the articles (I speak french fluently)

Thank god it has an translation :D
Yep. I remember that I studied French when I was young, but I guess that I'm in the same situation as Emily. Probably, like her, I would manage to say "tre jolie" (strange word for me ) and "bonjour" :guffaw:
Actually it's ''très jolie'' :p:lol:
I just studied 3 years of French, and I really don't know many things, I never liked French, well I can survive with it, I just need to say 'je ne parle pas France' and it's done :guffaw:

I studied French for three years too and I have to say that the Monte_carlo Television Festival was useful for a quick remembrance of the language... I am still getting a lot of articles in Franch and since I want to post them all on AnAwardForEmily I will keep on translating from Franch to English for a while, as I did with that interview I posted yesterday...;)

See? I told you my French is that bad :guffaw:

"Une très jolie petite blonde" is fantastic!!! I really love it!!!

I also think ''Une très jolie petite blonde'' is perfect :D

And I just send the mail to Emmy, I had to change some things that weren't so well, but now it's done!!
When do you know the nominations? It is on 16th? I saw that somewhere, but I'm not sure...

I have to check but I think it's July 16th.

''Une très jolie petite blonde''- though I don't speak french I know what it means and I think it's a great idea for a title of next thread, it perfectly fits to her.

Cool :D

Why I don't have My Space or Fabebook?? I always want to comment on the MS blog but I can't because I don't have an account :scream:

:guffaw: OMG I think lots of us are pretty disgusting in French, good to know . But thanks for trying to correct me :p

Anyway, fantastic title, so once one of the mods closes this thread down, I'm going to open the new one. Girls, be ready for a biga party !

Well I speak English, and a little spanish, and English fluently. You know I found it funny that when Emily was listening to the persons talking in French and she nodded like she knew wat they were saying to her and when the person was gonna translate she turned to her. HAHA:lol:! She didn't even know what she was saying and she smiled and nodded like she did.
