George/Nick: Texan Charm #13

I didn't notice the tobacco, but I hate that junk. I can't stand seeing or hearing people spit it out (even regular spit grosses me out lol).

Nick did look cute in the uniform though. :) Also really loved his scene with Carlos where he kept insisting that Sam was a good man.

Don't think I've mentioned it, but I think the hair has grown out very nicely. :adore: In the last episode it was looking really good! I think we're past the awkward stage.

There is something on my mind regarding the season finale and I think the best place to say it out loud is this thread :)

The first thing I thought when I read the spoilers about the season finale was "I hope George is not leaving the show!" But then... George said more than one time that he would stay till the end and I trust him :)

I hope the episode turns out to be as good as the spoilers make it sound. All we know for sure is that George will do a great job, no matter how good the episode itself is... George will make it worth watching! His acting is so amazing in emotional and dramatic scenes :)

Hopefully George got some great stuff to work with for this episode! I really can't wait to watch it and hope that it has a positive outcome for our Nick :D

I agree on all of that! I'm really looking forward to this one. We've had several good Nickisodes this season, and I hope this will be one too! :)

I agree too! I can't wait to see this episode!

It does sound like we might have some good nick scenes. I hope we do. And I hope he doesn't leave, unless he has another show in lined up.

This makes the spoilers easier to take!

George Signs for season 13

The actor has inked a new deal with CBS Television Studios to remain on the network's long-running CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, The Hollywood Reporter has learned exclusively.

Eads, Paul Guilfoyle's Capt. Jim Brass and Eric Szmanda's Greg Sanders are the only three actors who have been part of the main cast of the Carol Mendelsohn procedural since its inception in 2000.

News of Eads' one-year deal to remain with the series, which was renewed in March for a 13th season, comes after a tumultuous year for CSI. In addition to moving from its longtime Thursday time slot to Wednesdays, the billion-dollar franchise saw Ted Danson take over for Laurence Fishburne at the beginning of the season, later being joined by Elisabeth Shue, who replaced Marg Helgenberger.

Eads is repped by Innovative and Shelter Entertainment.

I really wish we had a 'like' button here because I would be pressing it multiple times! So excited to hear this wonderful news! :) CSI would not be CSI without him. So glad he has re-signed.

YES!!!!!!!

So, excited. Hope he got a good deal.

Now, I wonder how they will work the finale.

Very happy and excited about George coming back.

My thought on the cliffhanger is, Nick is still questioning things but by the time we get back for the first episode of season 13 he's back and ready to go.

That would kind of negate a cliffhanger but oh well.

All I kept thinking while I was watching last night's episode, was where did Nick go??

Yeah, I guess after the first two scenes at the race he must have been left there to guard it or something while everyone else investigated the case since we next saw him 30 minutes later still at the track. *sarcasm*

Poor writing, in my opinon. For crying out loud....either make two cases or just leave a character out now and then.

That said, he was looking really, really good!!

And why can't we learn more about Nick and his family? I know DB is new, but I think we have heard more about his life than we have Nick's. We even hear more about Super Dave's life than Nick's.

I wasn't expecting a whole lot of Nick, they were still tweeting pics George filming scenes from Altered Stakes three or four days after Dune and Gloom started filming.

But...

I was expecting more than this! :(

Did like his "Uncle Nicky" line. :D
