when your family asks why you have developed a sudden obsession with butterflies over the past few years

when you asked for nothing for christmas except that everyone in your family pitch in to buy you real fingerprint powder and a ALS light
when while you were watching Grave Danger everyone came running becuase you were screaming bloody murder at the tv
when you can no longer watch horror movies becuase the spatter is always completely off and the cast off is normally non existant
you seriouly consider skipping your school science fair (gasp) to watch CSI
when you know all the tiny little scientific details that even CSi has wrong but watch it anyway
you spent your entire summer at the library reading everything to do with forensics you could get your hands on, or trying to find spoilers for season 7
