i guess for me it'd be tom hanks and john malkovich, which because they've both worked so much with gary sinise would be plausible.
I personally would love to see Tom Hanks, but I would also love to see William Petersen as Grissom and Marg Helgenberger as Catherine from LV. Also Matthew Broderick(Ferris Bueller) would be a good one to guest star and the references to Bueller would be hilarious too.
Neil Patrick Harris would be great, especially if he played an attorney or a detective from another precinct. The character's personality could be like his HIMYM character, Barney lol.
My ideal guest would be to see Larry Romano come back as Louie Messer. Yeah, I know it won't ever happen; but I can still dream.

i'm not sure they would after the scandal he had recently, i'm not sure they'd want to risk it. i didn't believe the scandal, for the record, i don't think anyone capable of writing tommy could also be capable of doing those things. but... well, i guess no one really knows. he seemed very nice when i met him, but of course that means nothing, there are plenty of nice people who are also evil behind closed doors.
