Which laptop PC to buy

I'm looking into buying my first laptop PC, but I'm not sure which to buy. I know it depends largely on how I'm intending to use it.

I'm not gonna use it for any gaming. I'll use it mainly for work and presentations. And of course to come to this site.

Any recommendations?

Weight and cost are considerations.

Right now I'm thinking of Toshiba, Fujitsu or a Lenovo. But I heard it's got battery problems.

There is a website that tests and compares various brands. CNet.com has been around for several years (and for a while owned Tech TV cable channel). They test computers, printers, monitors, cell phones, MP3 players, televisions, and much more. They also have news from the electronics industry, a site for downloading shareware and freeware, and several free email newsletters. Hope that helps.
