Just been sitting here watching last season's conclusion of CSI (where Warrick was killed). We have a large flat screen and a Bose sound system. I have to keep turning the sound up and down. The sound goes from VERY VERY LOUD (scene transitions with loud music) and then very quickly to v-e-r-y v-e-r-y q-u-i-e-t (whispering between the characters).

Sure, I enjoy the show, but that kind of editing will force me to quit watching it.

I think that it's something to do with CBS. I know Tuesday that the Season Premiere of NCIS was similarly messed up audio-wise. You pretty much could NOT hear the dialogue on many TV's

I think it might have something to do with the upcoming switch to hi-def, as it was on the center channel, which is the dialogue....

I certainly hope they get their act together, because otherwise, I'm going to have to watch stuff online.....I love my computer, but not that much ;)
