Let's have some fun and come up with creative ideas for Grissom's sabbatical!
I'll start off:
Maybe a paleontological dig (dinosaurs) to dig up old bugs.
Maybe a trip back to the rainforest to look for BIG bugs.

Come up with a new idea that can be used in forensics,maybe?
Or go to Hawaii,go to the beach in his straw hat,Hawaian shirt and bermudas and relax,sipping a margerita,watching the sunset?
 
Well, I'm going on a 7-day cruise the day before Christmas, and I have enough place in my stateroom for an extra passenger, so... ;)
