'Wannabe' Number One? Try CBS Monday

Last night's CSI: Miami episode was no "Wannabe", raising the ratings since the last new episode and helping to win the night for CBS.

According to Mediaweek's Programming Insider, "Wannabe" earned a 14.6 rating/23 share in the overnights. This means that last night, approximately 14.6% of households in overnight markets were tuned to CSI: Miami, and 23% of households watching television at the time had the new episode onscreen.

The last new episode, "Money For Nothing", garnered a 14.0 rating/21 share in the overnights. The sweeps month episode "Invasion" earned a 15.2 rating/23 share.

CBS was estimated to have 16.40 million viewers last night, easily beating NBC's estimated 12.69 and winning the adults 18-49 demographic as well. No CBS show finished lower than second for the night, with many winning their time slots.

The Programming Insider called Two and a Half Men "the unsung hero of primetime this season" for its 92 percent retention out of CSI: Miami.
