It depends upon which of the three CSI series you are asking about. The Las Vegas bunch uses a GNC Denali. Miami has the Hummer. I think New York uses Chrysler products but not sure which.
Go re-watch Charge Of This Post. in the begining of the episode I'm almost 100% sure that they use Chevy Avalanches.
I've thought they've changed the cars now and then (except Miami)... like... remember them having some kind of Ford. Tho I don't pay so much attention (except to the Hummer  )
In the earlier LV episodes I know theu used Chevy Tahoes, and GMC Yukons. In the pilot they used Jeeps. They've always used Hummers in Miami. I can't imagine anything but GM products on any CSI series, since GM products re used so often and shamelessly.
It could be, but if you compare the two an Expedition is more boxy, whereas the Tahoe is has more curves especially in the back. That's how I can tell the difference but maybe I'm the only one who notices the differences. I have good photos that compare the two, but whenever I try to post photos it doesn't work, so I'll ask someone if they can help me.
in past seasons they used different vehicles (CSI LV) but now they have used the GMC Denali and Yukon, Brass drove a Chevy Charger, and in 'Rashomama' Nick's personal truck was a Ford SUV. I like cars so I can tell them apart and know the kind they are when I see them. now I don't know about CSI:NY but CSI:M of course drives the Hummer H3. I personally like the Denali, and when Brass rolls up in a Mustang GT we'll talk, but yeah, I think that CSI:LV is sticking with the GMC Denali. and in real life they even gave the Phoenix crime lab some of those to help them out.
