Umm..I think there wasn't a thread for this.

So anyone watching the show Vegas? Michael Chiklis and Dennis Quaid.. I think show starts to grown on me bit by bit. First it was bit slow, but now..I think it' sgetting somewheren.

And Dennis Quaid is so made for that role.

I've seen the first 2 episodes and can definitely say I'll stay with this series. Stars Dennis Quaid and Michael Chiklis are pure gold. CBS keeps bragging that its the "#1 new show of the season" (with Elementary being the #2), so they better not disappoint me with cancellation.

Please note that Vegas is moving...

CBS'S NEW DRAMA "GOLDEN BOY" TO REMAIN IN TUESDAY, 10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT TIME PERIOD

An Original "Golden Boy" Will Air This Friday as Previously Scheduled

"Vegas" Moves to Friday, 9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT, Effective April 5

GOLDEN BOY, CBS's new drama about the meteoric rise of an ambitious cop who becomes the youngest police commissioner in the history of New York City, will remain on Tuesdays (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT), after two special previews in the time period.

CBS previously announced that GOLDEN BOY would move to Friday (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) after the preview broadcasts on Feb. 26 and March 3. An original episode of GOLDEN BOY will still air this first Friday (March 8) at 9:00 PM, ET/PT as planned.

CBS will give the freshman drama VEGAS a look in a new time period, moving it to Friday (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) beginning April 5, following the Network's coverage of the NCAA Men's Basketball tournament.

In its two Tuesday broadcasts, GOLDEN BOY is winning its time period in viewers and key demographics, averaging 9.98 million viewers, 2.6/07 in adults 25-54 and 1.7/05 in adults 18-49.

GOLDEN BOY stars Theo James, Chi McBride, Kevin Alejandro, Bonnie Somerville, Holt McCallany and Stella Maeve. Greg Berlanti and Emmy Award winner Nicholas Wootton are executive producers for Warner Bros. Television.

VEGAS stars Dennis Quaid, Michael Chiklis, Carrie-Anne Moss, Jason O'Mara, Taylor Handley and Sarah Jones. Greg Walker, Nicholas Pileggi, Cathy Konrad, Arthur Sarkissian and James Mangold are executive producers for CBS Television Studios.

FYI
: Mr. O'Mara played Dr. Keith Winters on CSI: Miami ("Complications") in 2004.

I'm actually glad about this. Vegas was losing entirely too much of its demo lead-in from NCIS LA, but it will now air on a night that is more conducive for it because it should appeal to the same older affluent viewers who have made Blue Bloods so successful. If it can match or beast CSI NY's numbers and the producers can cut some of the costs, CBS may give it another shot next season.

The thing is, Friday night is just a bad night for all networks, I think.

We shall see next month though since basketball will be done then.

Please note that CBS moved Vegas to a new day & time: Fridays at 9pm ET/8pm CT, starting April 5th. :)

Vegas' ratings will have no effect on CSI: NY's renewal chances. Face it. Both shows are goners.

As for Vegas itself, it's a shame that more people are not watching it. After a slow start, the storylines have been great, and this week's episode was awesome. I'm just going to sit back and enjoy the remaining episodes of the season and hope the last episode does not end with a cliffhanger - just like I did with CSI: NY's last few episodes. ;)
