Upcoming Episode Details Revealed

David Hodges (<font color=yellow>Wallace Langham</font>) and Wendy Simms (<font color=yellow>Liz Vassey</font>) embrace their inner nerd next month on <I>CSI: Crime Scene Investigation</I>, <I>Friday Night Lights</I> star <font color=yellow>Adrianne Palicki</font> will guest star on <I>CSI: Miami</I> in April, and former <I>Miami</I> star <font color=yellow>Khandi Alexander</font> (Dr Alexx Woods) might return next season.<p>In an episode of <I>CSI</I> that will air April 16, Hodges and Wendy will realize that they share a love for the same classic sci-fi series. As CSI Files previously <A class="link" HREF="http://www.csifiles.com/news/100309_02.shtml">reported</a>, the episode will be called <A class="link" HREF="http://www.csifiles.com/episodes/csi/season9/a_space_oddity.shtml">"A Space Oddity"</a> and will take place at a science fiction convention. According to the official description for the episode, "When Hodges and Wendy run into each other at a science fiction convention for one of their favorite classic television shows, they end up investigating the murder of one of their beloved actors."<p>Over on <I>Miami</I>, Palicki will portray one of the contestants in a reality dating competition similar to <I>The Bachelor</I>. The episode will air in late April. As CSI Files previously <A class="link" HREF="http://www.csifiles.com/news/140309_01.shtml">reported</a>, the star of the fictional show, "The Marrying Kind", must choose between the final two contestants. He sends one woman home, but when he goes to propose to the other woman, he finds her dead. Palicki will play one of the contestants on the show, Marissa, but her character will not be the victim.<p>Alexander left <I>Miami</I> last season, and she returned for a guest spot in this season's <A class="link" HREF="http://www.csifiles.com/episodes/miami/season7/smoke_gets_in_your_csis.shtml">"Smoke Gets in Your CSIs"</a>. <font color=yellow>Emily Procter</font> (Calleigh Duquesne) hopes that Alexander will appear again soon. "We've got our fingers crossed," Procter told <A class="link" HREF="http://www.eonline.com/">E! Online</a>. "Khandi's got a new show, but there is a storyline [they are writing for] her for the beginning of next season, so we're crossing our fingers that she will be available.
