To which CSI: NY show did this scene belong to

I'm pretty sure it was in the fourth season and I don't remember all the show, but there is one scene where Hawkes (Hill Harper) is checking out a small shiny metal ball-like thing on a white lab table and it starts vibrating by itself. Remember the episode? It escapes me.
 
I'm not sure, but the first thing that came to mind was the scene with the liquid from "DOA for a Day" when Hawkes had the music playing to get the liquid to react...
