CSI: New York actress <font color=yellow>Claire Forlani</font> (Dr. Peyton Driscoll) ties the knot with <font color=yellow>Dougray Scott</font> in Italy.
A mutual friend introduced Forlani to Scott a year ago. The two got engaged in September when Scott proposed with a ring that he designed. "It was very romantic," Scott told People. "I feel so lucky to have met her. She's an amazing actress and human being. I'm very happy."
The wedding itself was a private civil service in Italy, and the reception took place in Pievebovigliana, where Forlani's family has a country home. Forlani's father, <font color=yellow>Pierluigi</font>, helped her to plan the celebration for more than 100 guests. "I will be the official cook of the event," he told the Italian newspaper Il Resto del Carlino. Forlani's dress was by <font color=yellow>Junko Yoshioka</font> for Bonaparte-NY, and she wore it with Jimmy Choo heels and a Swarovski crystal hair pin.
This is the second marriage for Scott, who divorced <font color=yellow>Sarah Trevis</font> in 2005. They were married for five years and have nine-year-old twins. Scott played Ian Hainsworth on Desperate Housewives and will be starring in The Cone Gatherer, a World War II drama, with <font color=yellow>Emily Watson</font>. Forlani plays a recurring character on CSI: NY and will have a role in the Irish film Shamrock Boy.
