'The Oath' Leads CBS To A Monday Night Victory

A new episode of CSI: Miami easily trounced competition to help lead CBS to a strong victory in the ratings on Monday night.

Mediaweek's Programming Insider reports that "The Oath" earned a 14.6 rating/22 share. This means that 14.6\% of households were watching CSI: Miami last night at 10pm, while 22\% of all households watching television at the time were viewing the episode.

CSI: Miami pulled in 20.75 million viewers, almost double the second place show for the 10pm hour, The Restaurant, which had 11.30 million viewers. The Restaurant came in at number two for the hour as well in the ratings, earning a 8.0/11. Miami also bested The Restaurant in the 18-49 year olds category, earning a 7.2/19 to The Restaurant's 4.9/13.

Miami's two lead in shows scored high as well. Everybody Loves Raymond brought in 16.07 million viewers with a rating score of 11.3/16, while Two and a Half Men drew 14.71 million viewers and earned a 10.1/14.

CBS claimed victory for the evening overall, with a score of 10.7/16. The network pulled in an average of 15.9 million viewers for the evening. Fox took second place with 7.1/10, and NBC was right on Fox's heels with a 6.9/10. Though Fox ended up in second place, fast affiliate ratings showed that NBC pulled in slightly more viewers on average, with 9.93 million viewers to Fox's 9.22 million.
