Big things are coming up on all three members of the <I>CSI</I> franchise.<p><I>CSI: New York</I>'s <font color=yellow>Melina Kanakaredes</font> (Stella Bonasera) has expanded her resume by picking up a pen. "I'm writing the 24th episode this season, the one right before the finale," the actress told <A class="link" HREF="http://www.eonline.com/uberblog/watch_with_kristin/index.html">Watch with Kristin</a>. "I really enjoyed going into a different part of the business." Kanakaredes also revealed that the season five finale of <I>New York</I>, which airs May 20, would end with a cliffhanger. However, before the show ends its fifth season, Lindsay Monroe (<font color=yellow>Anna Belknap</font>) and Danny Messer (<font color=yellow>Carmine Giovinazzo</font>) will become parents. <A class="link" HREF="http://www.tvguide.com/">TV Guide</a> reveals that Lindsay will go into labor on May 6, but it may take her a while to give birth. According to CSI Files sources, this will be the twenty-third episode of the season, tentatively titled "Greater Good". <p>Over on <I>CSI: Miami</I>, <A class="link" HREF="http://www.etonline.com/">Entertainment Tonight</a> reports that Horatio Caine (<font color=yellow>David Caruso</font>) and his team will investigate a case involving a reality television series. The episode, which is set to air in April, finds the <I>Miami</I> CSIs on the set of an unscripted dating show called "The Marrying Kind", which is similar to <I>The Bachelor</I>. The show's star has to pick between the final two contestants. He breaks one woman's heart, but the other woman is found dead before he can propose.<p>The original member of the franchise, <I>CSI: Crime Scene Investigation</I>, also has something coming up as the season winds to a close. In an episode tentatively titled "Reflections", Catherine Willows (<font color=yellow>Marg Helgenberger</font>) will flash back to when she first joined the Las Vegas crime lab in 1991. According to <A class="link" HREF="http://ausiellofiles.ew.com/">Ausiello</a>, <font color=yellow>Henry Thomas</font>, who starred in the movie <I>ET</I> as a child, has been cast as convicted murderer Jeremy Kent. Catherine put Kent away during her first solo case, and he has spent his time in jail learning about forensics.
