I like the show The Company. It shows the different sides of the Cold War. I just wanted to see if anyone else watches this show. Post your thoughts here.
What can I say? It's got Rory Cochrane, it's got Russia, it's got history... all of my favourite things! Too bad I don't get to see it until it comes out on DVD.
Waw, apparently not a lot of people watch this show. Well I do, and I have to say I'm curious what they'll do with the next episode. I believe Russia is a bit too much portraited as "the bad guys". But I'm gonna give it another chance, partly just because I love Rory Cochrane as Yevgueni in it Oh, the part where he talked to his girlfriend on the phone, he was so sad and crying . That part almost made me crawl through my tv and hug him.*sighs* if only
I watch it too! I don't think Russia is painted the "bad guys" anymore than the US, in light of last night's episode. We looked pretty stupid in last night's! I so wouldn't have heard about this show except that I was checking up on Rory *sigh*. I'm glad I did. Although I wish they would give him more credit and exposure (Rory that is) since his character is fairly big.
i love The Company! before i watched the show i read the book first. it is really good to read it has more detail about the characters. i can't wait for it to come out on DVD. you can still watch full episodes on TNT's website. i know i will...
I certainly will be watching it when it eventually airs over here. I've read alot of good things about it, not to mention a certain Mr Cochrane's involvement
Love it so far!! 1st part was alittle better then the second. Manly because Rory was in the first one more. Can't wait for the 3 ep tomorrow night!! C-ya & enjoy!!
I almost threw something at the TV when I saw Yevgeny's "appearance change" in night 2. Now I know it's a show and it's not real. But really! I still think Rory's a wonderful actor though, and I hope he get more well-known after this series. Good to see him have a romantic role. Just have to say wow. Would love to have him look at me that way...
You know he did really shave his hair off.. I think he looksgood either way. Like the 3 ep really well. Wish there was more of it. Hard to believe it's over already. I also think he is a fine actor lizzy. Actually they all did a fine job in acting on the movie. But Rory also blows my mind with his acting. He never lets me down. He never plays the same kind of role either. Which makes him a great actor in my mind.. I can't wait to see him in his next role. Whatever that maybe.. C-ya
i lthink he looked good either way too but the mustache...ewww. and i liked the end where Yevgeny gets reunited with Azalia!! it was so sweet!! and it was so wired to see Rory as an older guy. and the thing is..he still looked sexy!!!! and in the third one he laughed, cried twice and smiled twice all in 15 minutes!!! i was in heaven!!!
I love that part too Need 4 Speed!! I love when he hug her and I love the kiss in the first Part too! He look good as a old man. Not sure how old he was playing but he look so good. That blue jail out fit made him look really sexty!! C-ya and have a wonderful day!! Sj
I liked that he had a happy ending in the Company. It seems he was really the only one who did. I really like seeing Rory playing romantic roles. I wish he did more of them! If he ever really got into playing a couple of them, watch out world! His fan base would increase so freakin dramatically!
I love The Company, I bought it just after xmas last year and I have lost count how many times I have watched it since. Rory is just gorgeous in it and to see him smile...mmmmmmmm:hugegrin:
