I love stories, espically ones that are also case based to some degree at least. So I thought I'd point people in the direction of Fourteen Days by Mickeylover303, which is a long Nick/Greg story. Though it does have implied violence and Greg does get kidnapped by a sadistic serial killer so...
I also rec Gone Awry by Asa Meda, which is a Gil/Nick story, to anyone and everyone as it's been my favourite Gil/Nick story I first read it in 2003 and it's one of the very few stories I go back and re-read on a regular bases! (It does have some minor violence in the beginning but it's 100% nesscesary).
